MHA Vigilantes gets better every time I reread it it’s insane.
Not only do I have a better understanding of the AMAZING levels of foreshadowing and economical storytelling, but I also gets gems like this:
This may be spoilers, but this has also been canon for 4 years so I don’t care anymore.
That is Stain, Chizome Akaguro (^^^) also previously known as the vigilante and villain-slayer Stendhal. YES THAT STAIN.
But do you see what’s in that box?
Yes, that is a dolphin hat and a absolutely normal collared shirt in what looks like a water cooler.
If this we included in the main manga, this would have been a character detail that people would immediately latch onto. Stain?? The Hero Killer Himself has a dolphin hat? Endless fics would be written about Stain goes to sea world and realizes that the system is corrupt because he sees Shamu, locked and abused behind a wall, and it’s obviously the same as hero society.
And don’t even get me started on the collared shirt. You know what manz would look like if he wore the fit he he packed himself in his, uh, portable water cooler ?!
A dad.
God’s perfect killing machine wearing a dolphin hat and a collared shirt, walking down the street like he’s a normal person who doesn’t drink the blood of his victims and eventually CUTS OFF HIS OWN NOSE BECAUSE BATMANS MACHO LOVECHILD PUNCHED HIM REALLY HARD.
But because it’s Vigilantes and I can ping the exactly 43 people in this fandom because no one else has read this manga? For no reason???
I’m not sure if I asked this before but there’s this really funny manga panel from My Hero Academia: Vigilantes that makes it canon that Stain (Stendhal at the time) keeps his clothes in a cooler and wears dolphin themed baseball hats and plaid and I think it would be a funny thing to draw!
It's sure is funny to think about a killer doing normal people things, he looks like he go to golf course.
I just want to grab stain and brush his hair until its silky smooth again, cause like- LOOK AT HIS HAIR
As always: A low number of notes does not mean your work is bad or that it is not needed. There will always be at least one person out there digging for fics, who will come across your work, and be grateful that you wrote it!
So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????
I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.
Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?
