Let’s all admit it…Wade has VERY good taste music. And the opening credits were dope.
If you love Wade’s choice in music, then I’ve got some excellent news for you. Adam Pally made a “Wade Jammers” playlist on SPOTIFY if you’re interested!
Knuckles is too cool, he doesn't even want to sleep in a kiddie truck bed /hj
Which I can see, since he's basically a teenager and would think it's too childish for him.
Yeah, I think Tom and Mads know the very barest about Knuckles and just kinda lumped him in with Tails and Sonic. He's older than them, and has been through SO MUCH MORE in his life it's hard to imagine him wanting to sleep in a bed shaped like a truck.
I didn't know you were a DT17 fan! Some pitch bibles for both this show and a scrapped Darkwing spinoff were actually recently leaked if you wanna check those out in the following link! https://mega.nz/folder/EBhFkYJb#vIeABlpQuRB4U1xpyAL_DQ/folder/cIgwTawZ
OMG I LOVE THAT
I think the way they did the Darkwing update on DT17 was really clever. I would have loved to have seen a show based on that.
We watched the Ducktales reboot a while ago, but I'm itching to pull it up and watch it again. Glomgold was never that hilarious in the original series, and the triplets and Webby actually have personalities!
We still quote things from that. So funny.
I'm also a Rise of the TMNT fan--came in through the movie on that one. Probably my fave Turtles show.
I feel like there was potential symbolism with the boys and their beds at the beginning: Sonic and Tails are actually on their beds, representing how they've easily accepted becoming a family with each other, Tom and Maddie, while Knuckles only hangs above his bed, reflecting how distant he is from them
Oooh, that's a good point.
I wonder if he even uses it. Knux doesn't strike me as the kind who'd like to sleep in a bed, and least of all one that's shaped like a truck. (I mean, really, it's a bit childish.)
I've been hearing a lot of disappointment coming from the Sonic fandom since the release of Knuckles. Most of those complaints (understandably) are about a lack of character growth/arc and no real exploration of Knuckles becoming a part of the Wachowski family.
So for those of you who are finding yourselves in this growing pile of people, myself and @samthefrank thought we'd at least shuffle our series your way.
For those who haven't read it, it's all about the Wachowski's (all of them) becoming a family. Sibling fights, parental stumbling, and family growth are all included.
One thing I can say about this show is that Knuckles' characterization was 10/10.
There was so much emphasis on how much kindness and heart the big guy has despite his harsh, warrior exterior.
He showed himself to be so so empathetic and determined to help, while at the same time opening himself up to new information and experiences. He didn't always know how to approach things from a social standpoint, but he always tried so so hard.
Every second this guy was on screen was a delight.
One thing I really liked was the music scores , I thought it was insanely well composed and put in. Every time I was supposed to be hyped the music helped me get extremely freaking hyped 🎶
Okay, this post got me thinking about episode 2, and what I really liked about Knuckles and Wade's interactions.
One scene I really liked was right before the bounty announcement, where Knuckles and Wade are headbanging to Rock You Like a Hurricane. (If I could make gifs I'd make one of that because it's so adorable.) Knuckles wasn't doing this because he was truly into it, as we'd seen before this that he doesn't really seem to be all that interested in music. He was doing this because it was a bonding ritual with Wade.
They'd shared a little moment at the Burger Shack, and were understanding each other better at this point. Knuckles saw Wade as someone who had experienced betrayal, just as he had. He saw the way it ate at Wade, how it had hurt him. And Knuckles felt for him. Understood him.
The next scene, we're treated to both rocking out to the radio. Knuckles gives Wade a little glance and smile, truly enjoying this shared experience. The echidna was really into it, and it was so adorable to see him truly enjoying himself.
Then the bounty announcement came on and Wade became upset and afraid. And it would be very easy to see Knuckles acting on his bravado, pushing his chest forward and raising his fists with a "Let them come! We will best them and make them regret trying to claim that bounty!" or something similarly warriorish.
But he didn't. He quieted, and looked upset himself.
Knuckles is really connecting with Wade here, and I love to see that.
Ok so I have a question what do you think rain or weather in general was like on the comet I think that is where eclipse is from correct me if I’m wrong please but I have a small maybe idea/headcannon that it was acid like or just not normal weather in general and I was wondering how eclipse would react to other weather patterns
Being a comet in space, it wouldn't have experienced any type of weather in the typical sense, and the interior was probably pretty steady in terms of climate control.
But on Earth, the different seasons and weather phenomenon would probably throw him for a loop, and it may be a bit scary.
But, then again, depending on whether he ever went to ground during previous planetary invasions (if he was around for any) he may have experienced weather that was more severe than anything on this planet. Acid rain, extreme electrical storms, etc.
Hi. As an African-American/Black female, I appreciate you for reblogging that post. I have never been to those places, but now I'm never planning to go to ANY of those places.

No problem, Foxy. I want to make sure everyone can be as safe as possible, and if me reblogging something can give someone a heads up to possible danger, I will definitely do so.
