Had been practicing shading in sketches (so I get the better grasp of the form and character and it help a lot, especially with certain brushes I used, also help me pin point to where I would shade in the final work).

I think I figured it out. Due to that, I express my joy and what I learned in this drawing of a very happy Siffrin. I am happy too. I will keep improving and learning, and now, it feels like I’m really taking the next step. I shall use this joy and skills to improve the W.I.P fan-made ISAT prequel comic. More Siffrin, this time, practicing more dynamic perspective.

Also, I figure some things out. Mainly about which pen I should be using when making line art and how different pen have different advantages so I should’t stick to one pen, or one size (depends). Now I know I’m not gonna use G Pen for the main Line Art. Still learning though.

Also, I redid the header image and profile icon with my current abilities. Below is an image of me going through an arc. The pain of Self-Taught and a slow learner, which may just be me. I don’t know. I’m just trying to improve. If no one is interested in the image, don’t worry, I make sure people who are just scrolling or not interested will not see it unless they click below.

I have finally made a full background. I have figured some things out, and now, I feel like I’m onto the next step. And I’m gonna keep practicing and bettering myself.

On that note, here’s another Siffrin, along with a bird! Yes, I am not the best at background since I didn’t practice them as much as character, but I will improve on them, along with coloring, shading, lighting and the drawing themselves. I’m figuring things out as it goes.

Not much to say other than I have been practicing and testing which kind of drawing process I'm most comfortable with. Definitely still need practice on Line Art and such, so for now I will rely on Vector so I can manipulate the lines. Anyway, my first Animation post! I'm not planning on making it smooth yet, I'm still practicing after all.

Back again! I was doing a lot of experiment and trying to familiarize myself with settings and which I should use. Guess I really preferred Tapered Line Art (especially after I noticed something I misunderstood and realized I had it backward the whole time about tapered, oops), especially when sketching so... here we are. As for Art Note: I am not gonna draw Loop often (this is my first time finishing Loop's drawing), I struggle with spiky head. This is just a special occasion (especially since I'm going to be making a prequel ISAT fan-comic, Loop is not gonna show up, though I might make a cameo if the opportunity comes up). I will keep improving myself and exploring more. Perhaps keeping on changing and improving.

Also, some days ago, I improved the background and profile image, before I discovered the whole tapered misunderstanding I had (no need to know the context). Time to keep improving and more napping and thinking and... well, a lot of stuff. I am mostly self-taught, so experiences and understanding is really important if I were to keep growing and improving, it may be slow, but such growth and improvement in art feel special to me. Sorry about my rambling (if you are reading it for some reasons), enjoy the art!

And another one. This time, I'm trying out different canvas size including custom ones (as in not in the default options). Also, I make my brush randomize different shade of black to dark gray. It for some reason made me able to do line art better despite being barely different from just black??? I'm confused with how my brain perceived. Anyway, here's a dozing Siffrin in a sticker (I think) style. One without Eyepatch and one with Eyepatch! And just like Siffrin, I am gonna sleep and dream and think about why my brain thinks like this. If you know the answers, please do tell me, I am genuinely curious.

Here's another this week! Not much to add in other than I tried to play around with expressive eyes and pupils. This time, taking place in pre-canon timeline, the party is basically camping (though it's more like they're gathering around the campfire and chatting), absolutely nothing bad is going to happened in the future with the party having such a fun time, right?

Just me practicing drawing dynamic perspective and improving in general. I think it turns out really well! Comic is still being worked on, especially with arranging timeline and gathering more informations in ISAT Lores. This time, it's a Pre-Canon (Before he lost his eye) Siffrin! You don't want to be in the end of his dagger! It's sharp and dangerous!

ISAT out of context art. For fun, I am not going to say anything about the art and what's it about and let everyone interpret as they see fit. As Loop would say, "Tee hee!" I will put Spoiler Warning just in case cause people who knows the context knows it is sort of spoiler-ish, just a tiny bit.

As for Art Note: Well, the application I use just got updated and I think they improve the pressure sensitivity or something? Line art feels easier to draw, they also makes the line tapered more smoothly and better I think (unlike before, where taking the pen out too quickly leave an abrupt end line if you know what I mean). It feels better to draw compared to before the update and I like it. Also, I got a new profile icon my profile page had an image in it now! Not too big, but just updating. I did all the three art today and together, I am on fire today. Still reimproving the comic pages, especially now that the pressure had been renewed.

This is some pre-canon one-shot fic practice that may be implemented into the comic. I only made this because of the new art I did, which is below. Some art note, I am just trying out various color profile view thing that the digital art application I used have, because I'm not sure if I'm bad at coloring and choosing color or it's the color profile, I don't know, just trying things out. Siffrin is not a good candidate for this, since his color palette is black and white, oops, but I'm trying stuff out and improving... I hope... Uh, I hope you enjoy!

(Warning: Nothing morbid like blood or worse, but just for people who likes good grammar. I'm bad with past, present and future tense, so, sorry about this. Also, I am bad at remembering some vocabulary, even some basic words! So the writing can feel... simple. Anyway, that's all!)

Sorry for another interruption, this is just in case some technical error happen. You see, some times, when I tried to create some paragraph spacing in the middle of all of these words, some of the paragraphs just straight up vanished and never came back, at least in my screen it doesn't. So I'm not sure if when I post this, those paragraphs will pop out of nowhere. If it does, I will see if I can deal with it. Not sure if this is a common problem, but it happened to me.

Mirabelle is feeling very anxious and nervous. Recently, they had retrieved the fourth orb after a hard battle with the sadness that guards it. With one left to go, their journey is nearing to it's end.

She hadn't been able to sleep, so she decided to take a walk around, to calm herself down.

She stopped suddenly when she spotted Siffrin, looking up at the night sky, looking at the stars again (she's not sure why he likes to do it. She supposed it's pretty, but she felt that there's more to it than simple observation).

She shouldn't be surprise or startled to find Siffrin in the dead of night, and seeing no one is awake right now (or outside like they are), she...

"Siffrin." She softly called out to Siffrin, trying not to startle him, though it seems he already noticed her presence. He's very good at sensing presence amongst the party, it's what allowed him to find Bonnie that time when the rest of them didn't noticed the child.

"Mira, shouldn't you be in bed?" Siffrin asked.

"I should, but I can't sleep. And so should you. I know you like being up at night, but... it's not healthy, being up at night all the time, and we need to be ready and good to go to keep journeying, and... and..." Mirabelle tries to find more answers, but she ran out of it.

"...Mira, you are worried... Why?" Siffrin asked, looking concern. Mirabelle feels a bit jealous that Siffrin is not feeling anxious or worried about this journey at all. She wished she had that kind of confidence. Still, despite that, Mirabelle knows by now, from the time she journeyed with him alongside with everyone, that he's a kind and caring person.

Despite her initial worries due to his mysterious aura and other factors when he first joined, Mirabelle is glad to asked him to join her and help her to save Vaugarde when he saved her and everyone from that powerful sadness.

"I'm.. just worried. We are closing in the end of the journey, there's only one orb left to get before we head to Dormont to get to the House Of Change to defeat the King, but... what if something happen?!"

"Mira."

"What if... one of us die? What if they are crippled permanently for life? What if... What if..."

"Mira, stop. Listen to me."

Mirabelle stops, looking at Siffrin, who's looking at the stars with pained expression, as if thinking of some unpleasant things like memories or something else. He then turns to Mirabelle with a reassuring face.

"It will be alright, Mira. I won't let anything happen to anyone. I won't. Isa, Odile, Bonbon, and you. I won't let anything happen to you." Siffrin declared with a small smile.

...She knows. Siffrin would look out for everyone, and lead everyone to safety, disarming traps and looking out for enemies, making sure nothing bad happen to them.

"..Thanks, Siffrin. I suppose I should stay positive! No need to bring down the morals." Mirabelle replied with a smile, feeling a bit better.

"No problem, I hope it helps." Siffrin hides beneath his hat. Is he being shy again? Cute!

Mirabelle hopes nothing bad will happen to her or anyone, and of course, Siffrin. He's her and their friend after all! She now feel like she could go back to sleep now. She hoped one day she could hug and group hug with Siffrin, but due to his weird aversion to touch as Odile called it, she sadly could not. She hoped one day she could though.

An practice of a full art, not just a doodle or a sketch. A bit of spoiler cause of the context, the art themselves doesn't seem that spoilery but just to be safe.

"It's all gone. What's the point of trying to remember it? As much as he wants to remember it, it is futile. As much as he wanted to make it real, the universe doesn't allowed them to. There's no point. IT'S ALL GONE!!!"

In case there are people who are confused (which is unlikely I think if they had finished the game or finish ACT 3), it's basically about Siffrin's country, the Island, The Country that has disappeared from everyone's mind. I'm not sure if the font is appropriate here, but I tried.

The art was at first just me drawing sad Siffrin while listening to music that inspired me to draw this sad Siffrin, and I was testing out the line art. It turns out pretty well and I decided to fill in more than just sad Siffrin, so I added some texts. Still looking a bit empty, but I'm just trying things out and improving as time goes on. Also, the afterword quote (I think I should call it that) above, is not a direct quote from the game, just my own words of the situation. But, it does take place directly after the "PLEASE REMEMBER IT, BRIGHT ONE!" Scene, and before the... you know, before the end of ACT 3. Seriously, poor Siffrin.

Now I'm going to see if there's new ISAT playthrough with commentary and fanfics to keep my motivation going (though my motivation is still going strong). Also, on the ISAT Prequel Fan-Made Comic: Journey Through Vaugarde, I got the prelude pages all planned out, just need to revise it and do the line art and maybe redo some of the sketches.

More Siffrin Practice Doodles (Some Pre-Canon Ones, some canon ones). Yes, I am drawing a lot of Siffrin and I have no regret. I think I'm getting a hang of my preferred pressure graph for the lineart and drawing Siffrin. The doodles gotten a lot livelier huh? I am still working on the comic, right now I'm trying to figure some stuff out (with ISAT lores and my drawing). Also, I need help for my ISAT prequel fan-made comic. A bit of Spoiler Discussion Below after the Doodle below, which I hope you enjoy.

Someone help me and comment me about the timeline from the party meeting Siffrin and meeting Bonnie, The Incident which Siffrin loses his eye, and the Croissant Incident. I know Siffrin met the party a few months ago, so did Bonnie, but I have trouble figuring out the timeline that range with Meeting Bonnie and the Eye incident (Which the game only stated it was after they met Bonnie, but never really said, but Siffrin said to the Blind One that it happened a while ago, so I'm not sure, not to mention my memory is not the best) and the Crossaint Incident happened about a few weeks ago, but I'm not sure if it's after or before the Eye Incident. So, I need help figuring it out the timeline. I also need to figure out how long the time is between meeting Bonnie and the Eye Incident.

The reason I'm having trouble figuring out 'a while ago', is because I'm not sure how long a while ago is, and I'm not sure how long has Siffrin been walking around with that scar. There's also the fact Siffrin has not fully adapted to using one eye, with him having trouble with depth perception and bumping into things and tripping all the time according to Bonnie. I'm not sure how long does it take for one to fully adapt after an eye injury like that, and with Siffrin's case, it need to be before the time he should fully adapt or recover since he was still having trouble adapting.

A lot of things happened in a few months ago and a few weeks ago, huh, but figuring out the timeline is a bit difficult, when the informations is a bit vague (Which I believe is on purpose). Speaking of which, doesn't that mean the time between the party knowing Siffrin before meeting Bonnie is pretty short? That means Odile being suspicious of Siffrin Arc could last to meeting Bonnie (for those who are confused as to why Odile would be suspicious of Siffrin pre-canon, it's due to the one conversation of Odile suspecting Siffrin to be an assassin and tell it to Isabeau while she was drunk pre-canon! It's one of the bathroom cutscene. This will be an interesting arc to draw and think of, how the story will go and all.) Anyway, I need help with this. Here's some Pre-Canon Siffrin Doodles practice for the upcoming comic I'm working on! Just trying out stuffs with lineart and pressure. It's gotten better than before and it feel less stiff now. Tons of pressure graph experiment, trying to make the line transition smoothly if you know what I mean. I hope these improvement will make the comic feel more lively! I am working on it! Another ISAT Doodle Comic, this time inspired by a certain dialogue about the sharpening stone, when Loop asked Siffrin that where is his sharpening stone, and Siffrin replied that Bonnie used it as a skipping stone weeks (I think) ago. Which is why Siffrin here have an eyepatch unlike the previous doodles. Still technically in a prequel territory since this is not Dormant, but I will just put it as normal random doodle comic based on random ideas that came to my head. I'm just trying stuff out and seeing if it works or not.

'Bonnie got off the hook after they promised to never do it again (and if they did, they will make sure to check first) and make Siffrin's tonight meal portion bigger than usual.'

I have a feeling that Siffrin value his own stuff highly based on some dialogues, but cares for his friends more to not get too mad, though that doesn't mean he won't be angry if someone break or lost his stuffs.

The ISAT Prequel Fan-Made Comic's cover is finished! I must say, I am very proud of this one. My next plan is sketching the comics, and also write the story. Enjoy the art. Again, feel free to ask me about the fan-made comic.

Yes, I am aware that I'm bad at making Custom Title/Font, I will try improving that in the future. The tag will be JourneyThroughVaugarde to make it easier to find. It will likely take some times before the first pages or chapters to come out, but I will try to make at least 2-3 pages per post, so it will take a while, especially since I have my own stuff going on, so I may not be free all the time. Anyway, hope you like it and see you in the next post, it is time for me to basically think how the party have their character development and how they bonded through the journey and what the journey will be like. I have some ideas, but it's not fully planned out yet.
