what is led grow light?
LED Grow light, also name as plant grow light, or grow light for short. A grow light is an electric light to help plants grow. Grow lights either attempt to provide a light spectrum similar to that of the sun, or to provide a spectrum that is more tailored to the needs of the plants being cultivated. Outdoor conditions are mimicked with varying colour, temperatures and spectral outputs from the grow light, as well as varying the intensity of the lamps. Depending on the type of plant being cultivated, the stage of cultivation (e.g. the germination/vegetative phase or the flowering/fruiting phase), and the photoperiod required by the plants, specific ranges of spectrum, luminous efficacy and color temperature are desirable for use with specific plants and time periods. Russian botanist Andrei Famintsyn was the first to use artificial light for plant growing and research (1868).
Gow lights are luminaires utilizing LED chips in a modern and efficient way to produce light for growing plants. LED grow lights come in many shapes and sizes but as the most essential units of LED grow lights LED chips have most of the effect on the quality of the light, i.e. spectrum (colors) and photon flux (“brightness”) produced. Since LED grow light manufacturers can choose the LEDs they use in their lamps, it is important to understand which kind of LED grow light best fits the specific application. One of the advantages of LED grow lights compared to traditional lighting solutions is the ability to match the light to the needs of plants. more

how to start with a pcba contract manufacturer
how to start with a pcba contract manufacturer
PCBA may refer to Printed Circuit Board Assembly. PCBA is one electronic part that has assembled components(such as capacitance, resistance, IC, connector, etc.) on PCB, with SMT, DIP, and soldering assembly technology. All electronic devices have PCBA, and Electronic devices are everywhere. They range from smartphones to microwave oven and from laptops to cars. So almost everyone is familiar with them.
PCB Assembly needs a few files in order for us to start your PCBA work. First, Make a quotation. What do you need to get a quote on a PCB assembly? This is a great question and often a source of confusion. There are 2 basic documents and exactly how they are transmitted depends on your company’s tools; we can work together to figure out what best fits your circumstance. Here we'll explain what documents are necessary, as well as what information they should all contain, and their role in the quote process.
The basic documents are:
1. Gerber files
2. Bill of Materials
 Gerber Files
The same Gerber files in format of RS-274X that you send to us for your PCB fabrication will be required to assemble your boards. As a minimum request, PCB assembler needs the files of three layers: Silkscreen, Copper (Track) and Solder Paste. So please make sure that all these files have been included and reviewed at your side. Of course we will also review your files before assembly starts to make sure all the information is complete and accurate for assemblies.
Bill of Materials - (BOM) is the controlling document for components. At a minimum the BOM should have an internal part number, description, quantity per, and ideally a reference designator for each line item. Often BOMs include the approved vendor list (AVL), eliminating the need for a separate AVL. Best-practice BOMs will include the fab part number and revision. BOMs are most commonly provided in Excel format. Please note, you will need to provide separate drawings for any custom parts (i.e. cable assemblies, sheet metal, machining) to obtain pricing for these items.
Those two files are enough for us to make a quotation for you. After everything is approval when come to manufacture the PCB board, and assembly we will need a few more files.
 For PCB Manufacturing,
This is the most widely used file for PCB manufacturing. Gerber file is a set of files used to create different layers of the printed circuit board to be used for production. Each layer requires a separate Gerber image file.
.Top solder mask
.Bottom solder mask
.Top silkscreen
.Bottom silkscreen
.Drilled holes
.One for each
 For PCB Assembly,
Centroid File needed, The centroid file, also known as a pick and place or XY data, is used for quick programming of PCB assembly. This file contains the information about the orientation and position of all surface mount parts including reference designator, X and Y position, rotation and side of the board. Most times, CAD tools automatically generate centroid file, while some don’t. In such cases, you may need to modify the file and then create the centroid file.
 Assembly Drawings:
Being an integral part of PCB design and fabrication, these offer an assembly machine operator with enough information to check whether the rotation of each assembled part or component is correct or not. The file is usually in .jpg or. Pdf format. The file is created by exporting an image file of the silkscreen layer of the board.
 NC Drill File:
The NC drill file acts as a secondary file that needs to be sent to the PCB manufacturer along with the Gerber file. This will determine the position and size of the drill holes on the board. In some cases, NC drill file being referred to as an Excellon the file, which is based on routing and drilling machines.
 ReadMe text File:
This file contains the following information that can be helpful for PCB assembly:
List of non-Gerber specs
List of each file name
All the above-discussed files are important to assemble printed circuit boards. This information not only helps to better understand PCB assembly needs but also rectify mistaken part placements. Thus, it is very important to send correct files to your PCB manufacturer. If you wish to approach reputed PCB assembly manufacturers, who will deliver circuit boards as per your specifications then Mars Technology is the best solution for you. Since 1997, the company providing one stop Electronic Manufacturing Service meet PCB assembly requirements of clients from different sectors.
