The development of Zia's character is fascinating to me. Like in season 2+ she has superpowers and all that which strikes me as an attempt to write Girl Power (tm). But at the same time she never gets angry never have any conflicts, I think there's one scene where she has vague angst over her powers and that's it. Season 1 Zia had damsel in distress syndrome but she was also MUCH more impactful as a character, she got to be angry about colonization & grieve her father and all that. Season 2+ was so concerned about writing a strong female character that they forgot to write a character.
I don't remember enough about season 2 to comment but sharing this relevant analysis ↑↑↑

opinion on each individual mcog season?
Well, since there's only one season... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Season 1 is EVERYTHING.
Tbh, I don't remember much of season 2 ? It's kinda blurred with the first half of season 3. I remember liking Pedro's character dvpt... and, uh... that's it ?
The voices are annoying af. The animation's meh. Zia's powers ? wtf ?
I stopped halfway through season 3 because... well. I was bored, Zia started talking to rocks or whatever.
