sithisms:
And yet still being trapped on Yavin four had only resulted in..minor mistakes." He rocked his hand a few times. He remembered her vaguely. The amulet she war was of sith origin as well as his gauntlet his eyes narrowed slightly at it as he smirked. He recognized it from his studies." Ah..Muur's amulet. I remember reading of him. Fool put his whole soul into the thing. But I admit. Its power is quite unique." He smirked. He would say he was guilty for being trapped on one planet with eternal life. But it was better than being confined to a single amulet for all eternity. He had free reign. He had money in his pocket to bet the old spirit was whispering to her just as Freedon Nadd once did. His gaze was almost sharing his sense of wonderment. Thoes years hes spent alone she spent sleeping in a frozen chamber. Comical as he took a deep breath and leaned back on his chair as he intertwined his fingers together with a sense of boasting pride. "Oh so amusing to see such two old 'friends' reunite after four thousand years." His mention of calling her 'friend' was far from the truth. Well as much as they were enemies back then. They had to honestly put those differences aside as he leaned in. His grey eyes raising a brow as he spoke clearly." I have an inkling feeling you and I have simular goals. The way the sith are now is pathetic and that's putting it kindly." Taking a breath he downed a bit of water he had with him. Gulping it down as he sighed. "You and I are the only ones who know that. Aside from Muur. The empire is pathetic. But if we work together.." he paused. Clenching his gloved fist tightly with a slight smirk." All I ask is I be the one to kill the pathetic old hermit who calls himself 'emperor'." What a disgusting creature. The old man truly had no idea how strong numbers were compared to the lowly two. He extended his hand towards her for a handshake. "What do you say, Celeste? Are you in?" He asked casually.

He was right. The Sith of this era wouldn't have survived a day in their era– and she didn't need a Sith inside her and another one right in front of her to know that. Vader was a challenge, that much he'd proved. But as powerful as he was, even he was being kept away from so much knowledge, and she wasn't sure if it was because his master believed that to be the wisest course of action or because the Emperor himself didn't possess all the knowledge either.
"From what I heard, the Sith succeeded at killing each other. All except for two, and their... inquisitors." Once Jedi, now little more than lowly imps. She loathed them. "Hiding from the whole galaxy, waiting for other forces to weaken their enemies before striking, like cowardly vultures."
Not just hiding their nature as wielders of the dark side, but their nature as force sensitives as a whole. There was truly no honor in such cowardice.
As much as she despised the Sith of her time. At least they weren't COWARDS.
"You wish to take Sidious' place," it wasn't a question.
Muur was PLEASED with this offer, which was a great part of what caused her to hesitate. Whatever the old ghost had in mind, whatever made him suddenly go from encouraging murder to encouraging this alliance, it wasn't anything good. It made Celeste dread that, while all her thoughts were exposed, bare, to Muur, his own were perfectly secure away from her.
But it was her best chance to rid the galaxy of Darth Sidious, and that was an opportunity she just couldn't throw away.
She would deal with whatever Muur's plan was in due time. As she always did.
Slowly, Celeste leaned forward. Cold, blue eyes focused on his own as they began to burn with the darkness that swallowed the sky blue beauty and turned it a shade of redish yellow. Muur's borrowed power came in handy for a lot. Threats was one of the many uses she had for it.
"If you betray me, Exar Kun, you won't have to worry about living another four millennia," her voice was low, yet firm. "Because I am not my fellow Jedi. I am thorough. Once I'm done, there wouldn't be enough left of you to last another four DAYS."
She settled back on her seat, willing her eyes back to normal as she finally reached over, taking his hand in a firm handshake. "I'm in."

i-am-the-awakening:
"Come on...!" Rey grunted as she tried prying open the little machine in front of her. She didn't even know what they were called, but she knew that the big boss would give her more food if she could get the little chip out. Apparently the big metal around it didn't matter. It was the little bit inside that counted. But that big metal was turning into a big problem. Her fingers were already covered in blisters from trying to get it open for the last ten minutes. But Rey's grumbling stomach pushed her forward. She could already smell the extra bread cooking up in her little pot. Then a voice spoke in front of her and Rey jumped. The little machine flew from her grasp and onto the floor. She kicked at the ground and stood. Dark eyes wide. Legs bouncing. Nothing ever good happened when big people talked to her. She needed to be ready to run. She hesitated, looking down at the machine. Maybe this little thing was his. And if it was his, he should have it. But-But it meant more food... Rey darted forward and picked it up, hugging it tight. Her little face scrunched up. "No! It's mine. Finders keepers!"

A feisty child. Territorial. Possessive. He would even dare call her ambitious, given the device she was currently trying to crack open —an old stormtrooper helmet, many of those scattered around the galaxy nowadays— was made specifically not to break easily and there was no way a child could have gotten it to– at least not any time soon. All qualities of a Palpatine.
The bravery, on the other hand, was new. Alien to the Palpatine bloodline, who wouldn't be able to summon an ounce of courage if their lives depended on it. It must come from whoever was unfortunate enough to breed with a Palatine's side of the family.
As shocking as it was to find a brave one, it was better for him if the kid didn't run off. Even if she looked ready and willing to do exactly that. He had to play his cards right, that or end up chasing her.
He waved a hand dismissively. "I have no use for your helmet."
Carnor had never been good with children. They found him interesting, mysterious, given his height and appearance. But really, the only child he had ever had to be around of on a sort of regular basis was Irek Ismaren, whenever he'd be sent to scort the boy and his mother from Palpatine's palace to Roganda's homeworld, back when Alderaan was still a planet and not floating fragments in space.
He got down on one knee. Even like that, he towered over her.
"It looked to me like you were trying to break it open," he hummed. "Is that so?"

❛  don't you dare walk away from me when i'm talking to you.  ❜ (from Celeste)
"Fistey woman aren't you?" Kun snapped back towards her. His size almost devouring her and yet he wasn't angry. It was almost like a playful mock towards her as he cocked his head.
"Come now. Such a hot headed mouth on you. Let's talk like people. Not savages." He stated with a hum as he would extend his hand towards a set of chairs before him. Though he does remember her..time during his rule as a sith lord and baring controll over the brotherhood of the sith he had surprisingly remembered her face. Taking a seat himself he smiled at her knowingly.
"It appears you haven't aged a day. You don't feed off the force like I do.. no..stasis?" He asked out of curiosity. His brow raised slightly as he crossed his arms where he sat.

He had some nerve. Daring to speak about savagery after everything he'd done and everything he most likely planned to do. But then again, it would have been just as hypocritical of her to point it out, and Celeste would rather die than bring herself down to his level of hypocrisy.
Muur had his own opinions about Kun's behavior, and his own ideas about how she should react. Murderous ideas that he didn't keep to himself– he never did. But she ignored him and instead stood tall. He might be considerably taller, but he couldn't intimidate her with his height. The Jedi of her time wouldn't have held her in such high regard for such dire missions if she was the type of person that could be intimidated by something as insignificant as height.
Still, Celeste didn't move towards the seat until he'd taken his own. A passerby might have mistaken them to be friendly yet serious acquaintances catching up after a long time, if they remained far away enough. However, from close proximity, the tension was thick in the force.
"Stasis," she confirmed. Then, met his curious question with one of her own. "What reason do you have to have survived this long?"
