listen they can't call it Real Life unless scar gets to use his off-road wheelchair to run people over. it is important to me that he gets that one absurd advantage (having a wheelchair that moves at speeds that, if i remember the video correctly, can be measured in miles per hour) against all these floppy gamer men.
(or, well, i CALL THEM floppy gamer men, we DO know half of them at least all go skiing together periodically so they have to be semi-in-shape. this probably does not stand up to the power of having a Motor though. scar should be allowed to kill irl it's enrichment.)
HI im sorry for so much posting in like the same ten minutes i need to catch up on things im trying to pretend to be confident but posting anything is KILLING me shfgfhdj.
anyway fish :D,, tried painting again after a very long time of no painting anything with more than three colors
My favorite genre of hermits is: abnormally normal.
Joe Hills who is by any means incredibly just a dude™(human), but is so abnormal about it people think he must be something else.
Cubfan that's not human at all, but is such a normal dude about it you kinda miss it.
And then there's Mumbo. He's incredibly human at all times and doesn't act particularly odd about it... but in situations he should not be normal at all. (e.g. exposure to radioactive and/or toxic substances - no reaction whatsoever)
When I heard this scene in c!Sam's finale, I was DISTRAUGHT I tell you (Full Animatic)
But also elated because I get to draw it heheheheh
Little insight of my thought process behind c!Sam's design and the c!Tommy 💀 scene.
Back when I was making the dsmp character designs, I was going with the general agreed upon design as well as the dsmp wiki (hence the 7'4" height), but I wanted a reason why he wears a gas mask. The obvious one is because he's a creeper humanoid, so wears it to stop the gunpowder in his system to ignite (I'll one day get into the specifics of this but not here).
The other idea was thay he has big scary teeth and wears a mask to not freak people out. With some help from a friend (hi Melon) I decided that he should also have an unhingeable jaw. Why? Because it's cool and I like snakes. So the gas mask helps cover all that up.
I view c!Sam as the dragon equivalent of the creeper world. Creepers are big lizard equivalents (think komodo dragon) and c!Sam is an intelligent dragon (think Smaug from the Hobbit) equivalent. c!Sam and creepers are in the same family species, they have many core similarities but are completely different.
For one, c!Sam is bipedal 🤣
One day I'll show off my creeper designs.
Naturally that means c!Sam gets to make more than hissing noises (another reason why I got inspired by snakes). He gets to have growls, roars, high-pitched monstrous sounds, but also chuffs. Because it's cool and cute.
For the c!Tommy 💀 scene, in the Canon, c!Sam doesn't go into the vault to see him dead (I don't think anyway) because that would go against the prison being in lockdown.
HOWEVER for the sake of drama and angst, I decided that c!Tommy's 💀 at c!Dream's hand completely skewered c!Sam's mental state, and he went against his own rules to run to the blonde, panicked and horrified. He thought he'd be OK, that his prisoner was too weak and powerless to do anything. But c!Dream is not to be underestimated, and that's the lesson c!Sam learned the hard way with c!Tommy's 💀.
This isn't even the tip of the iceberg for all my thought process that has gone into my depictions of c!Sam, idk if you can tell, I love this tragic character 🫶
