““An ugly thing is what you are when you become a tourist, an ugly, empty thing, a stupid thing, a piece of rubbish pausing here and there to gaze at this and taste that, and it will never occur to you that the people who inhabit the place in which you have just paused cannot stand you, that behind their closed doors they laugh at your strangeness …”

This actually really frustrates me because Kim Dotcom created Mega Upload for everyone to share their own content with each other. He didn't mean for it to infringe copyrights and privacy laws. In Mega Upload, it states that content owners have access to the servers and to remove links from other users that are "illegally" loading their content.
Also, if you think about it, every social media might as well be sued along with Mega Upload. We are all constantly sharing music, photos, videos, stories on social platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr. None of these contents may belong to us yet we are posting them online for our friends and followers to see.
Another question it raises is that wouldn't my posting of photos that belong to another photographer be the same thing as my posting of a song that belongs to another composer? How is it that people can get away with posting other people's photography and people who upload movies don't? So should Wordpress be sued because bloggers like me post works of others? Should I also be sued even though I credit all my work to the original source?

Are LOLCats and Internet Memes Art?
We’ve all seen and shared a few LOLCats and Internet Memes in our time, but is it possible that these images and videos are actually a new form of art? It may seem strange, but Rage Guys, Advice Dogs, Trollfaces, and Philosoraptors are ways for people around the globe to express their thoughts, feelings, and emotions with others; the core principle of art. And we think some of history’s greatest philosophers and artists might be inclined to agree! New Idea Channel episodes every other Wednesday!!!
