do you ever just remember paul thinks he’s a freak and feels actual anguish towards his mother and the bene gesserit because of it?

he knows he’s messed up and eugenics did this to him and there’s no way to undo it or this path he’s on that’s tormenting him. he grew up without friends/companions his age and he finally has chani but loses her because he becomes ‘even more of a freak’ and is burdened with this horrible knowledge that he has to contend with. and he makes a decision that hurts her and her people, who gave him a home where he was finally trying to be equal to others and live honestly, instead of being the duke’s son and the potential kwisatz haderach
