Change of Idea

I decided to change the idea since my first idea needed many shots and I don’t think I can do it especially when I do 2D animation.

The new idea is to create animations of creatures around Newcastle.

Combining a 3D model in Nuke by importing a Nuke camera into Maya and then putting the model into the scene.

Ideas for the task

I want to do a 2D character animation. It is going to be about the character’s struggle in doing his daily activities. I probably will make the character small and I am going to show his struggle of being small.

I was inspired by this animation created by Aaron Blaise, which shows the struggles of an elephant in doing different activities.

i will try to find more references and think about the activities so that I know the locations.

I might change the reason if I cannot think of enough activities because as Paul said, I might need more shots to show the struggles and make it funny.

In the morning session of the fifth week, we learnt how to rotoscope in Nuke by combining a real life footage with a 2D animation.
