I DID IT! I've finally completed the last painting of the Mystical Lands Project. 🙉 Not sure why I decided to finish the day with an extreme painting challenge but it feels great to have them all done, 20 paintings in total. 😂💪 Day 18, painting number of 3 of today is called "Tree Swing". The little tree swing was actually the last thing I added to the painting when I felt it needed a finishing touch. It reminds of the hours my friends and I used to spend playing on a tree swing in Elmbank in Cavan. ⭐So remaining participants you now have seen all the paintings😊 Please select the painting you want by commenting "MINE" under it as soon as you can. This is what I always want to do with my paintings, create a world you can jump into in your mind and take a walk around inside. DAY 8 of the Mystical Lands Project painting is "The Faraway Tree". As soon as I finished painting this I thought of the Enid Blyton series of Faraway Tree books. I loved Enid Blyton books and always hoped one day I'd find the magic Faraway Tree and get to climb up into it and visit the little houses. 😊 📚If you haven't heard of the books here's a little introduction: "The stories take place in an enchanted wood in which a gigantic magical tree grows – the eponymous 'Faraway Tree'. The tree is so tall that its topmost branches reach into the clouds and it is wide enough to contain small houses carved into its trunk. The wood and the tree are discovered by three children named Joe, Bessie and Fanny who move into a house nearby.
