Good morning, hope you are enjoying your weekend. We took Margot, our black lab to the beach for a walk, it’s lovely walking through the sand and it’s her favourite place to walk. It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful sunny day. My plans for today, is to do some housework and tend to the garden. I want to buy some rose bushes and bedding plants. A peek at the baby bracelets that I made yesterday afternoon. They are small and cute, you do forget how small a baby’s wrist can be 😍. I always make them with an extender chain, so that they can be still be worn, when the little one starts to grow bigger. 👶🏼The bracelets are now gift wrapped, packed and will be posted today. But now I have to make a couple of flower girl bracelets, then I need to walk the dog, have a bit of lunch when I get back, then it’s back to work. Had the honour of making this keyring for a customer, to celebrate Father’s Day, which is on the 18th June next month. I just wish I could hand deliver it myself, because guess where it is going? Guess what this is, it’s my very first metal stamping set, which hubby bought me in 2014! 👀 I didn’t use it much back then, because I didn’t know what I was doing and I could never get a proper impression, whenever I tried to stamp a letter. So it never got used. But fast forward to 2019, I wanted to try again and start metal stamping properly and I joined a couple of Facebook groups, one in particular called UK Metal Stamping Addicts. They were so welcoming and supportive, giving me lots of advice on how to metal stamp correctly and also sharing lots of tips and tricks about tools, supplies and techniques. Now, I have added more stamping sets to my collection and my metal stamped jewellery, gifts and accessories, has become an important and popular part of my business and I love it. P.S. The reason I could not stamp properly with my first set, was because I was trying to stamp on stainless steel blanks. I learned that you have to use special steel rated stamps and not my first set, which were very basic. 🤦🏽♀️🤣. But I still love that set and I will be trying to use it more in my business. It’s Thursday and yay, the sun is shining for a change, yesterday was horrible as it rained constantly. I had a bit of a hectic day yesterday, so I did not get a chance to pop on here and say hello, but I guess it is better late than never. I was packing this ‘New Driver’ keyring gift and it reminded me of when I passed my driving test. Guess what, I actually passed my driving test in October 1990! Yes, October this year will be 33 years since I did it.🫣 I now feel really old, 😂, I bet most of you lot were not even born then! 😝 I am going to have to drown my sorrows in a cup of coffee, it’s a bit early for Prosecco 😜.
