Sade Robinson was only 19 years-old when she was tragically murdered following a first date on April 1st, 2024.

Reports state that Sade met up with her date at a seafood restaurant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin shortly before 5:30 PM that evening. She never returned home, nor did she show up for work the following day. A concerned friend reported Sade missing on the evening of April 2nd, 2024. 

The friend contacted the Milwaukee Police Department to report Sade missing around 9:00 PM. By this point, Milwaukee investigators had dealt with several suspicious crimes that day. Amongst those crimes was a burning vehicle found in a parking lot on the 1800 block of North 29th Street around 7:30 AM that morning. Later that evening, a severed human leg was found in Warnimont Park. 

Eventually, it was determined that both the vehicle and the human leg belonged to Sade Robinson. Investigators also learned the identity of the person Sade had been on a date with on April 1st: Maxwell Anderson, a 33-year-old man residing in the 3100 block of South 39th Street. 

Anderson was arrested and taken into custody on April 4th, 2024. That same day, a search warrant was executed at his home. During the search, investigators found blood on both the walls leading to the basement and the walls of Anderson's bedroom. They also found several containers of gasoline.

On April 6th, a severed human foot was found near the area where Sade's car was found. Days later, a human torso and arm were found washed up on a beach along Lake Michigan. Reports state that those remains are thought to be Sade as well. 

Maxwell Anderson was held for several days before prosecutors finally announced charges. Anderson is currently charged with several counts: first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson of property other than a building. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. 

The brutality of Sade's murder has led to speculation that Anderson is not a first-time killer. This speculation intensified when it was determined that the blood found in Anderson's house does not belong to Sade. Many are left questioning if Anderson has other victims that have not been discovered yet.

Sheree Beasley was a grade-one pupil at Rosebud Primary School and lived on South Road. According to her mother, Kerrie Greenhill, she was a very talkative and lively little girl; she said that she was her first born and was very special to her. While Sheree was exceptionally friendly, she still knew of stranger danger and would never speak to somebody that she didn’t know. In fact, Kerri had always told Sheree if a stranger approached her, to run to the nearest house for help.

That afternoon, Kerri handed Sheree money to pick up a litre of milk, a bottle of lemonade, meat pies and some cigarettes. She also handed her 50 cents to buy herself some sweets. As she left the home that afternoon, Sheree called out to her mother: “I’ll be back in a couple of minutes, mum. I love you.” Unbeknownst to Kerri, this was the last time she would ever speak to her daughter.

Around an hour after Sheree left the milk bar with the groceries, the alarm was raised. A local resident discovered Sheree’s abandoned bicycle and groceries in the middle of Parkmore Avenue, a dirt road located just off the Nepean Highway, around 100 metres away from the milk bar. The man who found the bicycle placed it against a nearby tree and moments later, another local woman spotted the bicycle. This woman knew Sheree and her family and recognized it immediately as Sheree’s bicycle. The woman contacted Sheree’s other, Kerri Greenhill, who in turn called police to report her daughter missing.

Dr. Arthur Duperrault had always promised his family they would one day go sailing. That day finally rolled around on 8 November, 1961, when Arthur, his wife, Jean, and their three children, 14-year-old Brian, 11-year-old Terry Jo, and 7-year-old Renee, departed Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to sail to the Bahamas. Also in attendance was WWII and Korean War veteran, Julian Harvey, and his wife, Mary Dene. Julian was on board to skipper the yacht.

While the trip started out as idyllic, it soon turned to horror. One night, Terry Jo was awoken by piercing screams. As she came up to the deck, she was met by a bloodbath - her entire family and Mary had been brutally murdered. Standing at the other side of the deck was Julian, who shouted to Terry Jo to stay on board as he escaped on a dinghy. Terry Jo soon realised that the yacht was quickly sinking but she managed to untie a small cork float which she launched into the ocean.

Four days later, Terry Jo was rescued by a passing ship. She had been floating on the cork float with no food or water. Meanwhile, Julian was picked up by a different ship and claimed that the yacht had mysteriously sunk, killing everybody onboard. Unbeknownst to him, Terry Jo had survived and was able to refute his claims, telling the captain of the ship that Julian had killed everybody on board before escaping.

As it was later revealed, Julian had planned to kill his wife to pick up the insurance money and he killed Terry Jo’s family as a way to cover up the murder. Terry Jo later said she believed that Julian hadn’t killed her because he expected her to sink with the yacht.

After discovering that Terry Jo was still alive, Julian took his own life.

The Harrowing case of Ashley Vigil

52-year-old Brian Kenneth Urban entered Paula Vigil’s life in 2014. “I told him my life is doctors’ appointments and surgeries,” she said. Paula took care of her daughter, Ashley Vigil, who suffered from a rare genetic disorder known as Rett Syndrome.

“Doctors told us there was very little likelihood she would make it to see her 11th birthday,” Vigil said. “Together, we could beat anything.” As an adult, Ashley's seizures grew worse, and she was losing weight. Paula installed nanny cams while working with Ashley's doctors to figure out what was happening.

Vigil discovered Urban moving her daughter, undressing her, raping her, putting her diaper back on and then moving her again.

“She could beat anything, except for him,” Paula said. Urban was arrested right after she made the discovery.

Video after video captured the crime — something that would be watched by only a few for about 20 to 30 minutes in court. Ashley died not long before the man who raped her was sentenced to prison.

In court, Urban blamed high levels of testosterone, steroids and medication for his actions. “My testosterone levels were elevated to be extremely high in a short amount of time . . . I was in a dream-like state, where reality felt like a dream,” he said in front of packed courtroom.

Dozens of volunteers showed up on the day of Urban’s sentencing to voice and show their support for Ashley. Ashley’s empty chair sat amongst a crowd of people who were there to be her voice.

“I thought I was angry before, but now that she died, I’m so angry now,” Paula said.

Urban pled guilty to five felony convictions. Judge Stephen Nelson in the West Jordan Third District Court sentenced him to serve his five convictions consecutively. This means Urban will serve five years to life for each of his two rape convictions and one to 15 years for each of his forcible sexual abuse convictions.

Palestinian men are being held in torture encampments at the Sde Teiman military base. They were detained by Israeli occupation forces following their ground invasion of Gaza. They are forced to wear grey tracksuits and wear blindfolds. The camp is surrounded by barbed wire. They are forbidden from speaking to each other, from removing their blindfolds, or even peeking under them.

Marlisha Love has been missing since January 6th, 2023. The 23-year-old young woman was last seen at a White Castle in St. Louis, Missouri. Marlisha never returned home and has never been seen or heard from again.

According to reports, Marlisha was seen with friends on the day on her disappearance. One of her friends stated that Marlisha asked to be dropped off at the White Castle at the intersection of Delmar Boulevard and Kingshighway Boulevard. After bringing her there, the friend said she witnessed Marlisha getting into the passenger side of an older model white Chevy Suburban. The car then left the parking lot. What happened after that still remains a mystery.

It is reportedly unusual for Marlisha to stay away from home and out-of-touch for this long. She was subsequently reported missing by her mother on January 9th, 2023 - three days after she was last seen. A few weeks into the investigation, police appealed to the public for help finding Marlisha. Unfortunately, it appears that the investigation has yet to turn up any sign of the young woman.

Very little information is available about the vehicle that Marlisha's friend said that Marlisha got into at White Castle. There is surveillance footage of Marlisha in the White Castle parking lot, but it does not appear that the footage captures her getting into a car. In fact, the St. Louis Crimestoppers page states that there are "no video's (sic) to verify [Marlisha's friend's] story." St. Louis police have revealed very few details about the investigation into Marlisha's disappearance. It is unknown if there are any persons of interest or suspects - as police have not publicly identified any people as such. What is known is that Marlisha remains missing today, and her loved ones are searching for answers.

Killing of Lacey Fletcher: She moulded into the sofa.

Lacey Fletcher was autistic and was reportedly bullied in high school. Her parents Sheila and Clay Fletcher later withdrew her from school in favor of homeschooling. Sheila and Clay were known to complain about Lacey, stating that they did not want to be caregivers when they became parents.

When Lacey was 24 years old,a decline in her cognitive health led to her being unable to leave the house.She became confined to the family's leather couch. Instead of seeking medical assistance for Lacey, Sheila and Clay left Lacey on the couch. Sheila and Clay left her on the couch and placed towels next to it, so Lacey's faeces and urine would be easier for them to clean. The rest of their house was well-cleaned, except for the couch, where Lacey remained unable to move from the couch on her own. Over time, Lacey's clothes began to no longer fit her, simply draping off of her body. Clay and Sheila would frequently leave for days on end to go on vacation, leaving her there to starve.

Over time her muscles atrophied, and vermin began to eat at her extremities under the couch leaving mouse droppings and maggots to thrive in the space. There were signs she had been trying to lift herself out of the couch to avoid the pain, but due to severe malnourishment and atrophy in her leg muscles, she was unable to. Her body fused into the leather couch cushions as she was covered in urine and feces, as well as maggots living in her hair and inside her. She suffered starvation and bone infections, leading finally to sepsis which caused her death. She had faeces and couch cushion both under her fingernails and in her stomach contents, showing she had attempted to save herself by eating her surroundings before dying on the couch whilst or shortly after Clay and Sheila vacationed for the holidays. Lacey was found at autopsy to have COVID-19.

On January 3, 2022, Sheila called 911 and stated that she had found Lacey dead on their couch. Emergency services and the coroner arrived at the home and discovered Lacey's dead, partially clothed and malnourished 96-pound (44 kg) body fused into the family's leather couch, with clear signs of neglect. It was determined that Lacey had been dead for one to two days before Sheila had finally decided to call 911. Sheila and Clay lied to police that it had been Lacey's own decision to lie in those conditions for 12 years. Her autopsy ruled her death a homicide. Investigators stated they could not sleep or eat after investigating the killing due to the mental distress that the gruesome nature of the case caused them.

On March 20, 2024, they were sentenced to 20 years in prison, with a consecutive 20-year suspended sentence

Girl, 12, dies weighing just 50'bs after being 'tormented' and 'starved' by parents

Malinda Hoagland, 12, was rushed to the hospital on Saturday after her father, Rendell Hoagland, called 911 to report that she was unconscious and unresponsive. She later died from her injuries.

Malinda Hoagland was "barely alive" when she was found by Rendell Hoagland, 52, on Saturday at their Pennsylvania home. 

Hoagland dialed 911 stating he found Malinda unconscious and unresponsive. Even though she was rushed to medical help, the injuries proved fatal resulting in her demise. Rendell supposedly informed emergency professionals that his daughter had collided with a tree while biking, which led to her tragic condition.

However, Chester County District Attorney Christopher de Barrena-Sarobe identified that she was "broken" and "barely alive," at a mere weight of 50 pounds suffering extensively from multiple broken bones, bruises, and organ failure.

Her state didn't match up with Rendell's narrative, marking her injuries too egregious to back his story. Rendell and his 45-year-old girlfriend, Cindy Warren, were arrested and charged with attempted murder on Monday evening.

The authorities are reportedly contemplating whether to charge the couple with full-blown murder, pending medical reports that could sway the decision.

Throughout the extensive investigation, authorities made multiple visits to the couple's residence in West Caln Township, scrutinized phone records and the couple's home camera system, and discovered reports indicating that Malinda had been withdrawn from school in late November, transitioning to online schooling the following month. The findings of the investigation were horrifying, according to de Barrena-Sarobe.

Security footage revealed the girl being ankle-cuffed to furniture around the house, verbally abused, denied food over "perceived slights" against her parents, and forced to perform strenuous physical exercises she was unfit to do, such as squats or running in place with shackles still attached to her ankles.

Warren's past offenses are chilling - she allegedly physically abused her three-year-old son and beat another two-year-old child in her care to death, as reported by the outlet. Both Warren and Rendell are currently being held on $1 million bail while they await trial.
