AC 11: SIDE EFFECTS,
After spending some time in Sanctum Lennox was convinced there was something not kosher about the place. Unfortunately, she couldn’t quite put her finger on it and she had to be careful about snooping around. After all, if she were to get kicked out she’d have nowhere to go. When she heard about the time other members spent trapped in the wilderness before her arrival it definitely raised some red flags. How the hell does that even happen? It seemed like the bad plot of a movie, not something that actually happened. Besides Sanctum seemed so put together that it didn’t seem likely something like that could even happen.
Then Thatcher left. Lennox didn’t really get a chance to know him since he left before she arrived. But from what she’d gathered he’d been in Sanctum a long time and really loved the work he did. Plus, there was Phoebe. Lennox thought Phoebe and Thatcher were deeply in love and happily married but then he left. Left her in Sanctum. What happened? Her mind was reeling. The only possible conclusion she could draw from the whole situation was that Thatcher had something to do with everyone being trapped in the wilderness. And now he was leaving before anyone could connect the dots.
This whole situation only made Lennox more convinced that something wasn’t right about Sanctum. There was some sketchy shit going on and she was going to get to the bottom of it. Even if she got kicked out. First thing was first though, why did everyone wind up stranded in the middle of the wilderness? Was it an accident or part of a more sinister plan? When Lennox was convinced she’d stumbled onto something she had a hard time letting it go. She needed to slow down, make sure she wasn’t jumping to conclusions. But what the hell even happened?

Loss: AC #05
Loss. Everyone experienced it at some point. A family member, a pet, friends or a significant other. It didn’t affect everyone the same though. The only loss Lennox had truly experienced was the loss of her parents in a fire. One that she had a hand in orchestrating. She’d wanted her father gone so she couldn’t abuse her anymore and she got exactly what she wanted. Unfortunately, her mother ended up dead too and it devastated Lennox. She loved her mom, even if they didn’t have the best relationship. She had to get over it pretty quickly though. Since the cops were looking at her as a suspect in the fire she had to focus on that instead.
Even now, years later, she tried not to think about it too much. Lennox felt guilty since it was all her fault her mother was dead. Even though she wasn’t the one who started the fire, she was the one who set the whole thing up. She was the one who manipulated a mentally unstable boy to commit the murder for her. She had absolutely no right to grieve or pretend she was the victim in the whole thing. She wasn’t. She was the villain.
After changing into her pj’s and getting ready for bed she climbed beneath the covers. The blonde sat up straight, closed her eyes and bowed her head. “Hi mama. I miss you. I know you probably hate me. I assume if you can even hear me then you know what really happened. But I had to get rid of Daddy. I couldn’t take it anymore. The next time I tried to kill myself would be the one that worked. Why should I give up my life because of him? You weren’t supposed to be home. Why were you home?” Tears were streaming down her freckled cheeks now. She quickly wiped them away and laid down. “I’m sorry. I love you.” She mumbled before closing her eyes and trying to fall asleep.
