Let the adventure begin!

I wanted to go on an adventure in Skyrim meeting new friends along the way and obtaining rare loot. Then it occurred to me when I stepped outside. I don’t have anything cool to wear. I was in need of advice, so I met my friend Reika at the Bannered Mare in Whiterun to ask her opinion. Her face lit up as she said, “I know just the thing!”. I immediately had a bad feeling about this. She came back after 15 minutes throwing me a small set of armor. I ducked into the back room and tried it on.

I was right. My friend raced in after she got tired of waiting for me to come out of my makeshift dressing room. “You look awesome!” she said as I cringed. When she asked me what was the problem I told her to choose a different outfit. I was not going out in public dressed like this. She came back ten minutes later with what looked like a robe saying, “Oh, so now you want to be modest?”.

It was a long black mage robe that made me look like an old woman. “I can’t wear this. I look like an old lady, and it makes my butt look big.” I said to Reika when she asked me what’s wrong with the outfit. “Wait! I know the perfect outfit!” Reika said as she rushed out of the room. She piled a set of heavy armor in my arms squealing, “I thought about you when I saw this armor”

“You love it, right?”, Reika said as she saw the smile on my face. I told her it looked badass, and I’d wear it everyday if only it wasn’t so heavy. Reika left and didn’t come back until an hour had past. I thought she had run out of outfits or just given up on me when she returned looking excited. “I bought two new outfits from the khajiit caravan outside town.” she said as she put a brightly colored, soft cloth in my arms. “Try this one on. It’s the prettiest outfit I have ever seen!”

Reika was surprised when she saw my expression. She thought I would love it. I didn’t have the nerve to tell her it was all wrong for me. I just said that green wasn’t my color. “Well, If you don’t want it, I’m going to keep it!”, Reika said with a relieved but happy look on her face. “This is the last outfit. I just know you’ll love it.” she said as she dropped some dark clothing in my arms.

“These are perfect! I knew I could count on you.” I told Reika as she beamed at me. Mission accomplished! “Can I be your fashion adviser for all your future wardrobe dilemmas?” Reika asked me with the same sappy grin on her face. “Okay Reika, the job is yours.” I replied. Reika then asked what should we do first on our new adventure. I told them we should thank the Khajiits who sold us these cool clothes.

We had so much fun partying with the Khajiit caravan. We gave them bottles of wine and they gave us some weird potion called skooma. It didn’t really affect me, but it sure made Reika act crazy. The next morning as the Khajiits were packing their things, we boarded Bjorlam’s carriage to Solitude ready for adventure.
