I know some of you thought that would be like trying to solve a crossword and realizing there’s no right answer BUT…you played it good & right. Congrats pals, you guessed the correct titles and feature artists on Red (my version). The vault tracks will feature Chris Stapleton, Phoebe Bridgers, Mark Foster and the first song Ed Sheeran and I ever wrote together the first time we met in 2012❗️I can’t express my gratitude enough to these artists for helping me bring these songs to life. I can’t wait til we can dust off our highest hopes and relive these memories together. We’ll also be making a bunch of new ones too, since Red (Taylor’s Version) includes so many songs you haven’t heard yet. Til then, I’ll be counting down and picturing it all in my head. My heart hurts right now. And I dont even know how to explain it. Because in the same breath of wanting company, I want to be alone. Because in the same breath of eanting to converse, I don’t quite know what to say. Because in the same breath of desperately trying to understand what I feel, the confusion of it is all consuming. Because in the same breath of needing to reach out for help, all that comes out is “I’m sorry for causing ypu anyburden”. My heart hurts as I wake up tired. My heart hurts as I feel so numb. My heart hurts as a lump in my throat feels like something is stuck and I feel my face getting hot ready for tears. But I cry ever so quietly just hoping the storm on my face passes quickly without too many damage. My heart hurts as minutes getting through a day feels like I’m trekking miles and there’s so much longer to go with no end in sight.
