Монометиланилин для повышения октанового числа
Монометиланилин (ММА, N-метиланилин) – октаноповышающая присадка (добавка) к бензину. Представляет собой прозрачную, от бледно-желтого до янтарного цвета жидкость. Относится к классу вторичных ароматических аминов. Антидетонационная добавка N-метиланилин предназначена для увеличения детонационной стойкости автобензинов, используется для производства неэтилированных бензинов путем смешивания с низкооктановыми, прямогонными бензинами и является основным компонентом современных высокооктановых добавок. Монометиланилин полностью растворим в бензине. Химическая формула: C6H5NHCH3 Синоним: Монометиланилин (ММА) Международное название: N-methylaniline Внешний вид: маслянистая прозрачная жидкость, от бледно желтого до янтарного цвета Основного вещества: не менее 99% Растворимость: полностью растворим в бензине Гарантийный срок хранения: 1 год Фасовка: бочки, 200 кг Условия хранения: в герметичных стальных емкостях под азотной «подушкой» на открытых площадках или в проветриваемом сухом помещении при температуре, не превышающей 40ºС. При хранении без азотной «подушки» под воздействием кислорода воздуха возможно изменение цвета от желтоватого до темно-коричневого. Применение Применение добавки N-метиланилин позволяет вырабатывать автомобильные бензины в соответствии с нормами технического регламента «О требованиях к автомобильному и авиационному бензину, дизельному и судовому топливу, топливу для реактивных двигателей и топочному мазуту», технического регламента таможенного союза «О требованиях к автомобильному и авиационному бензину…», а также всем действующим и перспективным экологическим нормам стран Евросоюза. Вовлечение N-метиланилина в количестве 1,5% массы в эталонную смесь изооктана и нормального гептана, взятых в соотношении 70:30 по объему, обеспечивает прирост октанового числа не менее чем на 6 единиц по моторному методу, что эквивалентно эффекту от применения ксилола, толуола или МТБЭ в количестве более 10% массы. Предельно допустимое содержание монометиланилина в выпускаемом в оборот на территории России и стран Таможенного союза бензине определено требованиями вышеуказанных технических регламентов в зависимости от экологического класса топлива. По согласованию с потребителем добавка N-метиланилин может содержать моющий компонент, эффективно удаляющий смолы, органические осадки и отложения, возникающие в процессе предпламенного термического окисления N-метиланилина и в фазе активного сгорания. In order to make the quality index of gasoline with such additives meet the national automobile gasoline standard, for example, adding 1% (mass fraction) N-methylaniline can increase the octane number by 2-4 units . However, aniline additives have potential hazards to the mobility and safety of vehicles, and N-methylanilines are nitrogen-containing compounds, which will lead to an increase in the content of nitrogen oxides in automobile exhaust, causing harmful effects on atmospheric environment and human health. The main components of aniline additives include aniline, N-methylaniline, o-methylaniline, p-methylaniline, m-methylaniline and N, n-dimethylaniline. Currently, the commonly reported methods for the detection of methylaniline compounds include naphthalene diethylamine spectrophotometry, gas chromatography-nitrogen chemiluminescence detection, high performance liquid chromatography, etc. . The traditional naphthalene diethylamine spectrophotometry interferes with the determination result due to the occurrence of side reaction, and the HPLC method is inevitably affected by the interference of gasoline matrix.   The gas chromatograph-nitrogen chemiluminescence detection method requires the preparation of an expensive nitrogen chemiluminescence detector that can selectively detect nitrogen. The recently drafted (yet to be published) national standard "Gas Chromatography for the Determination of Oxycompounds and aniline Compounds in Gasoline" also describes a method of analysis using Deans switch on two opposite polarity columns using the common and relatively inexpensive hydrogen ion flame detector. For this method, ThermoFisher Scientific has published an Application paper (Application Notes C GC-50). As a simplification, this paper introduces a faster single column method based on the local standard DB37/T-2650 issued by Shandong Province in 2015 . The results show that this method is simple to operate, with good repeatability and high accuracy. At the same time, the method was optimized to solve the problem of interference of aniline quantification by gasoline matrix composition. 2. Overview of the principle of the method On a polar polyethylene glycol (PEG) column, aniline compounds in automotive gasoline were separated from the gasoline matrix, and acetophenone was used as the internal standard. As the May, 2014 Prospector article on Flow, Leveling and Viscosity Control in Water-Based Coatings indicates, the two largest classes of waterborne coatings include water-reducible and latex, with the majority of baked coatings falling in the first category with most of the architectural coatings belonging to the second category. The term water-reducible is used for resins made in solvent and reduced in water to form a dispersion of resin in water. Latex resins on the other hand are prepared by emulsion polymerization in water. Disadvantages for the use of waterborne coatings include: High dependence of evaporation rate on relative humidity High heat of evaporation for water requires 2260 J/g for water and for example only 373 J/g for 2-butoxyethanol, a commonly used cosolvent Nonlinear viscosity reduction curve for coatings using water reducible resins High dependence of flow and appearance on relative humidity High surface tension of water (poorer wetting) requires the addition of surfactants which in many cases detracts from humidity resistance Waterborne coatings are more corrosive than solvent born coatings and thus require lined containers, plastic or stainless steel to avoid rust Waterborne coatings are more prone to popping in baked applications as film formation begins to occur before water evaporates from the film (see Table I) However the continued advancement in material science to include innovations in resin chemistry, surfactants, wetting agents and flow agents will help enable the continued growth of waterborne coatings.   Figure I represents the various stages in drying of a latex based paint system. The first stage involves the evaporation of water. The second stage includes the continued evaporation of water and cosolvent to the point where the latex particles touch and begin to coalescence to form a film that is partially dried. The final stage involves the continued coalescence and cure (in a crosslinked system) to form a cured, dry adherent paint film. One of the key considerations in the use of waterborne coatings is the increased role that humidity in addition to temperature plays in the application and cure of these coatings. For example, to provide acceptable application properties, both the temperature and humidity must be carefully controlled as illustrated in Figure II. The effect of humidity on coatings containing water-organic solvent can not be ignored. For example, the relative evaporation rate (E) of water at 0 – 5% RH at 25°C is 0.31, but at 100% RH the E is 0. The E of 2-butoxyethanol, a commonly used cosolvent, is 0.077. At low RH, water evaporates more rapidly and thus the ratio of 2-butoxyethanol to water increases; the reverse is true at high humidity. When waterborne coatings are applied, if humidity is ignored, variation in application properties and appearance will result. For example if the temperature at application year round is 70° – 80° F, dry application (loss of flow) will result in winter months due to low humidity especially in colder climates and excessive flow will be observed in summer months (high humidity). An example of the later situation is that at about 65% Relative Humidity/25 °C, a waterborne coating containing 10.6% 2-butoxyethanol of volatiles, the evaporation rate of water and 2-butoxyethanol is equal. This relative humidity is called the Critical Relative Humidity. Figure II Application Dependence of Waterborne Coatings on Humidity and Temperature.   Table I illustrates the increased dependence of waterborne coatings on popping at various film thicknesses when compared to solvent born coatings. Sand it with sanding paper (320#) in the same direction as wood grain. Fill the holes and cracks in the wood with transparent putty. 5. Apply 1-2 coats of putty on the treated wood. The recoat time is 2 hours and it is better to sand each coat with sand paper (400#). If the wood is very coarse, then more coats are suggested. 6. Dilute primer with 10-20% clean water and 2-3 coats are suggested. The recoat time is 3-4 hours and sand the first coat with sand paper (600#) and (800#) for the rest. 7. Dilute finish with 10-20% clean water and 2-3 coats are suggested. The recoat time is 4-5 hours and sand it lightly with sand paper (800-1000#). Good Remind 1. Water-based coatings vs. solvent-based coatings
Coatings frequently take their name from the binder, or resin, from which they’re made. Epoxies, alkyds and urethanes are all examples of resins that give a coating their name. But these aren’t the only parts that make up a coating. In addition to additives, which can lend a coating certain performance properties, and the pigments that lend color, coatings also contain an element that dissolves it all into a liquid for easy application. This liquefying agent typically takes the form of water or some other chemical solvent. Hence the terms “water-based” and “solvent-based”. Which type of product is right for the job will depend on the circumstances. Generally speaking, one is not better than the other, but they do perform differently in different situations. Ideally, both options will exist side-by-side in a coating professional’s arsenal.
WATER-BASED COATINGS
Water-based paints make up about 80 percent of household paints sold today according to the Paint Quality Institute, a paint advising and testing organization. There’s no doubt this is in large part due to one of the main attractions of water-based products, whether it’s an interior house paint or heavy-duty protective coating: fewer odors. When working in confined or poorly ventilated spaces, the evaporation of solvents can be uncomfortable for workers or even flat out hazardous to their health. For this reason, many projects like those involving fuel storage tanks and railroad tank cars make use of water-based coatings. These also reduce the concentration of flammable materials that build up in a confined space. That does not mean, however, that the use of water-based coatings negates the need for OSHA approved confined space safety measures. Environmental compliance is another common reason for choosing to use a water-based coating. Many solvents evaporate into what are known as volatile organic compounds, or VOCs. National, state and local governments often regulate VOCs by limiting how much businesses are allowed to emit in a given timespan. The EPA sets national rules for VOCs, but some states have tightened restrictions even further, necessitating concerted efforts to limit their emission. Water-based coatings don’t necessarily contain zero solvents, though. Many contain what are called co-solvents, solvents present in lower concentrations and meant to help push the rest of the water out of the coating as it dries. But since water-based coatings have either no, or considerably less solvents, they are a great way to lower a business’s VOC output. For some companies, this can mean spending less on environmental compliance advising. Or keep them from paying significant fines for exceeding VOC quotas.
SOLVENT-BASED COATINGS
Solvent-based paints are made up of liquefying agents that are meant to evaporate via a chemical reaction with oxygen. Typically, moving air surrounding a solvent-based coating will help to speed up the reaction, reducing drying times. These coatings have one major advantage over water-based coatings. They are less susceptible to environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity during the curing phase. Humidity can actually prevent the water in a water-based coating from evaporating, making them impractical in some climates. Water-based coatings also present a challenge to the surface prep stage of a coating project. Water, while a promising substitute for solvents in some situations, is also a key component of the corrosion process, the entire reason for the industrial coatings industry in the first place. If water makes contact with the substrate before the coating is applied, spot rusting may begin to occur. In order to ensure that this is not the case, water-based coatings must be formulated so that all the water is drawn out through the surface film before corrosion can occur. This is not a consideration with solvent-based coatings. So, in summary, though water-based coatings may be a good option for jobs involving confined spaces and continuous coatings use, they’re not without their weak spots. Jobs in open, humid conditions, such as those often found in infrastructure recoating projects, can still benefit from the right coating.
