I was walking through the toy aisle at Target when I found this thing and had a VIOLENT AND IMMEDIATE FLASHBACK to when JP first came out and they had a bunch of REALLY COOL T Rex toys that I would have sold one of my scrawny small-child limbs for but my mother wouldn’t get me one because they were “too violent and also ate people” :(

Closing out the big anniversaries this month, it's 80 years of The Vigilante! One of my favorite all-time Golden Age characters, let's take a look at Ol' Vig by some of the biggest names in comics!

Something a little unorthodox for Valentine’s Day, for those who both love unorthodox and have watched the Bruce Timm-animated Justice League, Question the kooky masked detective superhero and his vengeful, hot-tempered beau Huntress striking fear into the criminal underworld, kicking butts and spending some quality time together. While Huntress flattens bad guys with her raw, visceral fighting moves, even Question can get a little frightened by her, but also can’t help enjoying the way she looms menacingly over him. Even when surrounded by goons in an alley, they can fight back like cornered hounds. Huntress also makes the perfect brawler for Question when he has to access a computer room, laying into thugs with no-holds-barred ferocity. Of course sometimes she wants him to relax and join her for a few rooftop smooches over a view of the city. Even when captured and with her hands chained, Huntress is still a danger as she chokes her captor between her legs while Question lends a hand, or fist even. To cap it off, the detective and vigilante kiss in a moonlight cityscape, keeping thugs from interrupting their moment with two quick punches.
