This bit is very interesting with Bogosian calling Daniel a very powerful individual and implying that he's in some ways equal to or more powerful than Armand
Can I say something is it finally safe to say that I don't find the popular trend of white people on this site who aren't muslim saying inshallah for jokes funny and I never did
i think "it takes a village" shouldn't be just "to raise a child". we should understand it takes a village to do literally everything we do. all day every day. without our communities we would not have drinking water or electricity or clean streets or food or shelter or anything. we cannot do any thing alone. we just can't. and with that comes the fact that you are not alone. you already have a community, seek to be an active part of it, you will feel better. reach out and thank them, they're happy to have you too. i promise. it takes a village to live.
I know it’s not hard to point out reactionaries hypocrisy when it comes to like safe spaces or hug boxes or whatever but genuinely how much of an echo chamber do you have to exist in for you to think this is a reasonable thing to say
Listen, I was a Lestan when I got into the books cuz he was a funky lil dude and was kinda funny and yeah I used to justify and excuse his shit but u know the difference between me and these middle aged white weirdos...is that I was 13. These ppl ain't 13 anymore and yet fight tooth and nail for his ass, so I just assume their minds and reading comprehension stopped when they were teens after reading those books cuz there's no fucking way that an adult can look at Lestat in the show or read the books and not see he is a complete piece of shit of a character — even if u like him! He's racist, he's abusive, he's a cunt!
