I hate the trend of just describing books with what minorities the main characters represent and nothing else. not only does it feel weird + exploitative to me it's also such a shoddy ineffective marketing technique. "this is my book with queer polyam disabled vampires you should buy it" ok great but what is it like. about. what are the themes. why should I read it

greek mythology | couples | Ενυο & Αρης
→ Enyo and Ares were war gods/goddesses. Enyo is responsible for the destruction of cities often accompanying Ares and his two sons into battle on his chariot. The pair had Enyalius, another god of war. During the fall of Troy, Enyo, Eris, Phobos, Deimos inflicted terror and bloodshed, and she, Eris, and the two sons of Ares were depicted on the shield of Achilles. Ares when mentioned in the myths was described as “overwhelming, insatiable in battle, destructive, and man-slaughtering,” and majority of the time is facing humilation.

Classic sea shanties like:
"I fucking hate this ship and I cannot wait to get off."
"I got off the ship on the dock but I know I'm going to get back on the ship when my leave is up. Fuck."
"Storm."
"Big storm."
"Is it just me or does this ship have like. Really clean lines. Like damn. Okay. Not saying I'm feeling attracted to the ship, per se, but. Damn."
"Sometimes you see weird shit that you cannot explain and you just kinda have to shrug and go. Welp."
