I am unfortunately just like other guys. I like trashy horror, dog poems, cannibalism as a metaphor for obsessive devotion, religious imagery, people who use my name in a sentence, academic validation, lying for fun, being bisexual and bleeding out in the snow.

‘In 1778, two Irish gentlewomen put on men’s clothing and ran away together. Lady Eleanor Butler had received several offers of marriage but was determined to share her life with her friend Sarah Ponsonby. […] They spent the rest of their lives in a black and white house called Plas Newydd outside Llangollen, cultivating their garden, improving their minds and filling the house with clocks, cabinets and “whirligigs of every shape and hue”. [They also had] a little dog called Sapho.’

Reasons Edward Cullen is Gray Ace (probably demisexual)
Based on things I personally related to reading Midnight Sun. I'm sure Meyer definitely didn't mean for any of her characters to be lgbtq+ but here we are.
He has never felt attracted to anyone beyond aesthetic attraction before Bella. (Meaning sure they're pretty but had no desires beyond that observation)
He gets to know Bella and is in love with her (romantic attraction) before realizing he is sexually attracted to her.
When he finally does realize that he is sexually attracted to Bella he is genuinely confused/terrified by these new feelings
Asexuality is a spectrum and with even just one of these points I would consider him an ace character especially the first one but all the is too much
Thanks for coming to my ted talk

wait kajillionaire was good actually like going into it I was expecting "kooky indie heist movie" vibes and instead I got like a really heartfelt gay movie featuring beautiful cinematography, a complex storyline about overcoming trauma, and Gina Rodigruez

i just watched Kajillionaire, and I gotta say…I’ve never felt more fed. You know those thinkpiece artsy films where the guy comes in, changes the woman’s whole worldview? That’s this. but they’re both women, and there’s a bittersweet ending, and fascinating metaphors for poverty and death and I just…yeah. Having a film where the lesbianism isn’t a plot point was so fucking refreshing.
