Why does the main stream media not show natural beauty black women anymore?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yeah, there’s only one depiction of how black women could look like in 2024. It’s extremely sad that we only see one look for black women in mainstream media now for every day life, it can differ, but mainly the black women are most likely following what main stream media black women are you doing when it comes to their looks as well
You guys have been liking my posts on 70s black women and I find their beauty so authentic and memorizing like this look for black women will never go away. It will always be timeless and that’s the whole point of what beauty is supposed to look like it’s supposed to be timeless
I feel so we’re gonna look back at this generation when it comes to our beauty and it’s not gonna be timeless in fact, we’re gonna look back at this and be like it’s the worst time a black woman’s beauty because it’s not authentic and naturally us
And before you guys said, there’s all types of black women who are in different types of aesthetics, and have a unique fashion sense, save it you guys have converted everything to a ghetto fabulous aesthetic, and we need to be honest with that
I just want black women to feel happy naturally, and beautifully them. How are black women supposed to see themselves if it’s not even portrayed on main stream media enough or even in their environments
