[ a shrug rolls off her shoulders. ]
"I dunno, we could grab Takumi and go to the Smoking Hole and bullshit. Or wait until it's dark and sneak around. Unless you'd rather stare at the wall."
[ Cue the overly dramatic sigh. ]
“Come on, Pudge, you’ve gotta stop being a stick-in-the-mud. Let’s do something fun, then.”

She could see the conflict in his eyes as she watched his every expression. The girl had become extremely familiar with everything he did; his smoking habits to the exact measurements of the ambrosia; everything. He'd become her partner in crime through every prank and detention Culver Creek could dare throw at them. Alaska had been there to be thrown out of the games with him and Takumi, everything. Life without The Colonel wouldn't be exciting. Not at all. Even though Alaska disliked more than one thing about the Creek, she wouldn't trade it for all the books in the world. Well... "Are you serious? You can't really think that. And don't try to get me off topic. I probably have another endless soliloquy for some situation similar to this--- but I'm too stunned to even get out intelligent words." It was true, Chip wasn't as bad as he made himself out to be. She refused to let him stoop to that level. Ever.
"Our intellect will only get us so far," he mused, feeling the nudge to his side only to shift his gaze to her fully. He wondered, sometimes, if he hadn’t met Alaska what he would have became? Probably the same thing with Pudge but in meeting Alaska Young he didn’t have to think about it. Truthfully he felt as if he’d seen the error in his ways but meeting the girl was both a good and bad thing. If he hadn’t met her he probably wouldn’t have gotten into all heaps of trouble- or maybe he would have, but he wouldn’t have had so much fun doing it. All the bickering, days at the smoking hole, he’d do it all again if he could which is why he tended to keep an eye on everyone without exactly making it known that he was doing it. "I’m a shit person, Alaska, you know that and she knows that. Just sucks because I miss her, even right now. And I continue to wonder if we had a good thing at one point in our relationship would this place that we’re at at this point would be better or worse?" He wasn’t sure what he was saying, hell, he was stuck mid-thought, thinking about all the possible combinations and this and that. "How’s Jake?"

Her brow furrowed slightly. "I always have speeches prepared at the spur of the moment------ and for the record, metaphors are symbolization of a greater perhaps that the intellectually challenged don't understand, thus making it all the more special." Alaska sat up a bit straighter in her spot. "Not exactly the soliloquy you wanted, but close enough." The smaller girl nudged him in the side. "You don't mean that. You've got more brains than she could ever hope to have."
The brunette’s hands rest on her hips at his response. “Don’t tell me it was Sara again.” She shook her head before moving to sit next to him. “You can’t keep letting her do this. But if it’s not her, than I dunno what to do about the soliloquy I prepared about how a majority of the female population are over-rated.”

He slams the phone down on the receiver, hands shaking and head spinning. They’ve broken up countless times before but this time it’s different. Slipping into his room and sucking down his ambrosia he sits on the bed and hears the door open. “Closed for maintenance, try again later.”
