Alisha Weir was incredible as Abigail.
This is such a tough role, especially for a child actor. And she completely nailed it. She convincingly pulled off acting like a sweet, innocent, terrified little girl (seriously that kidnapping scene was dark...) and then quickly flipped the switch to being a bloodthirsty, cunning, sadistic monster.
And apparently she did most of her stunts herself! That's amazing!
She's like Kirsten Dunst's Claudia but on crack. And she was working in some pretty intense scenes. But, I've got no doubt that she was surrounded by a great cast and crew who took care of her during those physically and emotionally tough scenes.
I'm just so proud of her! From Matilda to Abigail, Alisha Weir is showing off quite an impressive range. Again, at such a young age, too. And I hope that her career continues to go in different directions.

April 15 is Steal Something from Work Day!
https://crimethinc.com/StealfromWork2024
Every April, millions of workers around the world observe this day as a chance to settle accounts with those who are profiting off their labor.
For us, it represents an opportunity to reflect on why so many people steal from their workplaces and what it would take to create a world in which doing so would be unnecessary.
