forever in awe of people who pay attention. people who wait for you while you tie your shoes while the others have walked away. when they continue listening intently while the rest of the group stopped listening. noticing your moments of silence when everyone else hasn’t. “this made me think of you” noticing things you never even noticed about yourself. people who say “text me when you get home safe.” people who make you laugh until you cry. childhood friends who keep in touch. people with genuine intentions. people who are soft when the world has given them every opportunity to turn hard. the “let’s get ice cream” at 3am friend. the turn up the music in the car and sing friend. people whose actions match their words. people who make the world feel less chaotic. kindred spirits. the trustworthy and honest. hard workers. good listeners. clear communicators. people who love you for who you are. people who don’t ask you to be anything other than yourself. people who choose you. people who stay.

do you have any tips on going natural and growing out 4c hair? i did the big chop 6 months ago and i feel like my hair stopped growing i just want it to be long enough to atleast put in a bun, but growing it is so hard
Moisturization! Also, sometimes out hair just wants to be left alone too. Keeping a consistent schedule to moisturize, detangle and will scarves/pillowcases. The little things is what can slow growth. Castor oil, peppermint oil work for me to wake up my scalp and slow steady growth.
Also what you eat!!! It seems crazy but if you eating 4 for 4s everyday and have a good hair routine, you might have detangled kinks but slowwwww growth. Water is your friend! Lots of it, ya 5 food groups honestly. For me I have crown breakage a lot cause I do high buns often, so I only do them occasionally to retain length. First thing you also got to do is see what circumstances your hair is easily manageable or soft. My hair like water alotttt so for me that is key. I use high water based products . Heavy Creams just sit in my scalp, water products my scalp eats up immediately. Get a good leave in conditioner, hair oil, deep conditioner, clarifying shampoo, and misting spray (you can make this with ya fave ingredients or find a good minimal ingredient one at the beauty supply store) Hope this helps. My hair was it’s healthy when I was pregnant and when I was breastfeeding lmao. Smh. It’s decent now but I still have issues too (my crown) everything else grows lmao

it’s a new month tomorrow and I want to start my journey! Maywe have a reset routine or ritual please? Sorry for my poor English 🥰🥰🥰
ask yourself these questions to clarify your ideas and to know what you should focus on, it is advisable to write them down in a notebook.
what things would you like to improve?
what things would you like to leave behind?
what habits do you want to start adopting this month? and what habits do you want to leave behind?
what mindset would you like to have?
what goals do you have for this month?
how would you like to feel? What can you do to feel that way?
and you can propose something and of course accomplish it.
