THE END!! I can't believe I finally completed this. When I first started this comic, I had no idea that it would end up being this long. A little over 3 years and over 200 parts, so around 2000 panels. (My folder that holds all my files relating to this comic is 3 GB with 2,017 items....). I honestly can't believe that I managed to stick around to the end of this. Thank you all so much for the support, I never imagined that so many people would care about this comic when I started it!

Of course, there are still some loose threads. The kwamis and Nathalie for example, but the core of this series has always been about the emotional conflict between Marinette and Adrien, and that has been resolved. I have some epilogue ideas to cover those loose ends, but this comic has already taken so much of my time and I'm not sure I want to promise that I'll get around to it. ... But who knows. Maybe!

For now, Adrien and Marinette will get some long-deserved rest.

i can’t remember whose post i saw saying chloe would ship ladrien and try to set them up

but now i’m imagining chloe writing ladrien fanfiction (with queen bee as ladybug’s bff ofc) and it’s amazing so thank you

she refers to adrien exclusively as adrikins and calls the other heroes utterly ridiculous and writes uncomfortably long descriptions of how attractive ladybug is and alya reads it and KNOWS it’s chloe and likes to read excerpts to marinette

adrien is chloe’s beta and she rejects about 50% of his suggestions, most of which are the corrections on his name or suggestions on how to make chat noir look cooler. she does accept his changes to chat noir’s dialogue and marinette and alya are stunned that chloe knows that many cat puns.

watching ML season 1: Chat Noir gets mind controlled so often it walks the line between repetitive and memetic. This is either lazy writing or a ploy to keep the show's focus on girl power.... Either way another whimsical entry in the unintentional children's show fridge horror category. watching ML season 5: Oh, The Catboy Is Mind Control Themed.

youtuber/tiktoker/whatever-type-of-video-influencer marinette, where she makes crazy DIY and craft videos and debunks fake content-farm DIYs. she has a modest but loyal mass of followers that grow by the day as her crafts get increasingly intricate and cool. she catalogues all of her mistakes and is very earnest about the process. adrien falls asleep to videos of her sewing and making cool containers and explaining the mechanisms of the strange devices she makes

the beautiful thing to me about miraculous ladybug is that it's not slowburn in the truest sense. marinette gets a crush on adrien and it takes us five seasons to find out why she's so terribly anxious about it, but adrien truly speedran developing feels for her JLKGSDGDS

i love the idea of chat noir being an avid reader just because this boy is always bouncing off the walls and i just think seeing him be. still. and quiet for a few hours. would be funny.

it would freak the fuck out of ladybug tho. i feel like chat noir being quiet would make the balance of their dynamic feel weird and so she would then be the one to let all her chaotic energy out
