Advertising
Honor is preparing to launch its GT series smartphones in China. One of the managers of this brand has published information about the new series.
According to rumors, two new devices from this series will be called Honor 90 GT and Honor X50 GT. It is said that these phones will focus on processing performance.
According to a report by Digital Chat Station, the Honor 90 GT and Honor X50 GT phones will come with 24GB of RAM. Therefore, these two Honor phones will be the first phones of this brand to use this amount of RAM.
One of the leakers claims that the main camera of the two new Honor phones will have OIS (optical image stabilization). He adds that Honor will offer these phones with three different chips and use a high-quality display in their construction.
Earlier, the same source revealed that Honor 90 GT and Honor X50 GT will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Plus 1st generation and Snapdragon 888 chips respectively. This is the first time we are hearing about a third processor.
Currently, it is not clear which of these two phones will have a chip other than the two mentioned chips; But possibly the Honor 90 GT could come in two versions with different chips.
Honor's new phones are said to use flat screens. It is not yet clear whether the panel used in them will be LCD type or old; But it is likely that these phones will arrive with an old screen.
Honor is expected to release more information about its new phones in the coming days; Because one of the managers of this company mentioned earlier that the GT series will be a new lineup of phones of this brand and it is different from the X series. Probably, the price of the new Honor phone will be more expensive than the current models.

American Senator: Governments are spying on Apple and Google users with phone notifications
According to one of the American senators, Push notification service is a way to monitor Apple and Google users.
Advertising
A US senator warned on Wednesday that some governments are spying on smartphone users through their app notifications. Senator Ron Wyden said in a letter to the United States Department of Justice that foreign authorities want this data from Google and Apple.
A variety of apps have push notifications to alert smartphone users of incoming messages and breaking news and other updates. What most users don't know is that almost all of these notifications are sent through Google and Apple servers.
Push notifications give Google and Apple a clear view of the traffic coming from those apps to their users. This puts the two companies in a unique position to facilitate government surveillance of how users use certain programs.
Apple said in a statement that Wyden's letter gave them an opportunity to share more details about how governments monitor Push Notifications.
Apple, the maker of iPhones and MacBook laptops , said in a statement: "In this context, the federal government prohibited us from sharing any information. Now that this practice has become public, we are updating our transparency report to detail these types of requests."
U.S. and foreign government agencies have asked Apple and Google for metadata related to push notifications to, for example, help connect anonymous users of the messaging apps to specific Apple or Google accounts, one of the people familiar with the matter confirmed.
Most users do not pay attention to push notifications; But due to the difficulty of using them without sending data to Google or Apple, they have occasionally attracted the attention of developers.
Earlier this year, French developer David Libeau said that users and developers are often unaware of how their apps are sending data to US tech giants through notifications, calling it an important and uncomfortable privacy issue.

iPhone 16 comes with a very advanced microphone; Talk to Apple's artificial intelligence
Apple intends to provide a new Siri experience with the iPhone 16, and for this purpose, it is seeking to strengthen the microphone of its phone.
Advertising
In 2023, Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) will gain significant popularity. It is not difficult to predict that the iPhone 16 will offer innovative features in this field, and now there is evidence related to this prediction.
Apple revamped the Siri team structure in Q3 2023 to integrate its Large Language Model (LLM)/Generative AI team. Voice input will be the key interface for working with artificial intelligence in smartphones, so enhancing Siri's hardware and software features is key to improving iPhone performance.
Ming-Chi Kuo says that according to his surveys, all iPhone 16 models will have a significant upgrade in microphone specifications. In addition to better water resistance, the key upgrade is a better signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) to improve the Siri experience.
Based on this, it can be said that Apple is going to integrate more AI/AIGC capabilities into Siri as a key selling point of the iPhone 16.
AAC and Goertek are the iPhone 16 microphone suppliers. Strengthening the specifications may make the cost of buying a microphone for each iPhone 16 at least 100 to 150 percent higher than the iPhone 15 , and this may affect the price of Apple's phone . As a result, AAC and Goertek's revenues are expected to increase significantly.
As AI devices emerge as a critical trend in consumer electronics in 2024, other Apple products and high-end Android phones are likely to upgrade their microphones, potentially providing a source of growth for AAC and Goertek.
