Society today
I might get hateful comments about this, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. You see people in the streets rioting others with authority. Because of race, because of income, because of the social status they have. What I see is too many people fighting the wrong people. Sure there are many grey areas to every situation, there's many views for one side. But we don't truly know what happened because the media plays on the truth of the story, manipulating us to believe in what is being said instead of the whole story. So stop fighting against the police, stop fighting against each other, stop fighting in your own backyard. Start fighting against what matters, groups like Isis, the true terrorists in this world. We should be saving our energy and strategically planning our next move to destroy that threat instead of claiming that blue lives matter, that black lives matter, that gay rights matter. Don鈥檛 you see we all matter?! America is based on a melting pot. Everyone here can be created equal if you prove your case correctly with professionalism instead of riots. We need to eliminate the threat that is threatening us outside our walls and focus on becoming the great country we once were.

Missing the old days
Do you ever miss when you were little you didn't have to worry about big world problems? How it felt to run outside in the middle of summer with no shoes on? Or not caring where water came from and you drank from the hose that was attached to the house? Those were the care free days of our lives, and we took them for granted. Well at least I know I did. I would have rather worked to earn that dollar from my father than to lay out and tan in the backyard. I grew up too fast, that's my only regret. I wish I could go back in time and tell the younger me to enjoy it while I can. To stay out at night until the streetlights came on. To play on the playground with other kids and create long term friendships with them. I miss the old days when we didn't have to worry about bills, elections, or media. I miss that we were all once innocent, pure children that held no hate for another race, because we were taught to love all. What happened to those days? What made us change our way of thinking?

Life in your 20's
When you grew up, you've seen adults in there 20's and you've seen how well they have their lives together. The perfect job, perfect car, great stability. But what we didn't see is once we become 20+ it's not all that's cracked up to be. You're struggling to make your next car payment, hoping you have enough money to buy something for dinner off the McDonald's dollar menu. You're thousands of dollars in debt with no diploma from college, and you have no grasp on your life. You still have no idea what you want to do for the rest of your life, you don't see a bright future near and you're hoping someone can help without feeling worthless for asking. I'm not saying all of this to prove that your 20's are the worst of your life. I'm saying this because you'll get better from this moment. You'll never be alone, many people around you feel the same way. Eventually you'll have enough money. Eventually you'll have that perfect job. But when you do, it's because you were determined to get what you want and you achieved your goal. So stay strong and keep moving.
