For those who are new to Flight Rising april fools and don't want to stress about the event item: it's a cycling chest. FOR NOW, opening it will give you a different color of the same chest, etc. etc. Last year we had two, but there were more colors in the past, but it's a pre-determined cycle. Once the event ends (about 4th 6:00 FR time, but check for dev info on that or keep an eye out on the chest's item database entry), the chest will lock in its current color, and opening it will give you an item that is somehow associated with the color.

they made a ancient dragon with a headdress that lives in a remote part of the world and have such exotic existences they can barely communicate with other dragons beyond baby speak until the elements get fucked up and now their babies can talk like normal. and their entire story is just some random dragon being vaguely condescending to their real fear of losing the connection of language that they have with their children

i cant imagine getting a dragon and following the assigned gender for it. i dont even see the poses as male or female at this point. it’s all just lizards in my brain. when people refer to my dragons as he or she on instinct bc of the pose im like “oh yea..”

this is doubly true for noctures/wildclaws/undertides bro i am not remembering which is the male stance and which is the women stance

What do you (at least in your heart) send dragons you exalt off with?

All my exalt fodder dragons get a fluffy coat and a thermos of warm soup when I send them off to the Icewarden

#i wrote entire lore about shadiwbinder exalt rites because i felt bad shooting them into the void #so they get a special meal and fancy body paint + talismans before drinking a sleep potion and getting put in the ritual graves for a time
