I mean, Callie and I had this whole entirely nasty marriage counseling and later divorce things going on … And I won, I had full custody of Sofia but – Silly me told Callie that she could have her. I mean, how stupid was that ?! I gave away my daughter, and I’m still so mad at myself, Teddy. And then Callie left, and she’s living with someone named PENNY in New York. Penny !! And then I finally met someone else, but Eliza left too – And now it feels like she wasn’t even there, because she disappeared out of nowhere !! ❜ Taking the drink from her friend, the rambling which was falling from her lips was only interrupted by the fact that she took a sip. ( oh, sweet alcohol. ) But it was probably for the better to stop, and to breathe. ❛ But now you’re back !! Everything’s gonna get better now, because I’ve got my best friend back in town. – Don’t tell me you’re leaving again, tomorrow. Don’t you dare do that, Theodora Altman !! ❜
with raised eyebrows , mouth absently agape as arizona gives her this mountain of information without hardly taking a breath , teddy listens attentively to the distressed blonde . it's a lot to process all at once --------- callie and arizona aren’t together anymore / the couple she thought would last forever is no more ? ------------ she aspired to have a relationship like callie and arizona's , and hearing they're officially over is depressing enough for teddy to take the first sip of her ( incredibly strong ) cocktail as arizona does . a weak smile tugs at pink petals , giving a small shrug of her shoulders as teeth absently scrape her lower lip . lips that were recently touching owen's lips , and owen's lips definitely belong to amelia shepherd , whether she wanted them or not . hence why she needs a drink and to spend most of the night with one of her top three favorite people , ❝ i'm , uh , i'm probably gonna be here for a little while longer ------ at least while megan is in recovery , ❞ there's a pause as she takes another sip of her drink . she hopes she's not giving off a vibe that she's withholding a secret , but she knows the more she drinks the more loose - lipped she becomes , ❝ i'm really sorry about callie and sofia , that's just ------- super depressing news , actually , ❞ a humorless breath of a laugh falls from her lips , ❝ i'm buying all of your drinks tonight . ❞

Her expression softened, the smirk changing into a smile with a squeeze of Henry’s hand. Teddy ran her thumb over his skin, staring at him with what must have been the goofiest grin on her face. If she didn’t know it was physically impossible for her heart to explode from the amount of love she held for Henry, she would be wondering how long until it did. The blonde swallowed, the adrenaline high finally wearing off and all of the emotions she had been holding back during surgery hitting her as tears stung her eyes. “Good, because I plan to do everything in my power to keep you around.”
he's still in a bit of pain / the pain killers they gave him hours ago were beginning to wear off which means it's probably about time for the nurse to come in and give him more . but that doesn't stop him from reaching over , a loving hand strokes her cheek and tucks a few strays hairs behind her ear , ❝ are you crying because you feel bad about trying to talk me out of going to med school ? or am i just so devastatingly handsome in this hospital gown it's bringing tears to your eyes ? ❞ he chuckles , but a wince follows shortly after as his incision site aches a bit .

Okay, let’s talk about nobodykncws. I just recently started writing with Shelby, but from what I’ve seen of her threads on my dash with other people, she most definitely captures each one of her character’s personalities really well. Like, especially Henry. I can hear his voice in each one of her replies, and I absolutely love it. It makes me so happy to see that Tenry is finally getting some more love around here.
But yeah, she’s also just a great writer in general, and all the props to her for being able to keep up with the handful of muses that she has. Basically, people who write multis deserve much more appreciation than they get. Oh, and also the formatting and Photoshop skills. Like, I honestly wish I had even half of the talent that she does in those two areas. Thanks for putting up with an OC like me, by the way. Finally, Shelby seems like a pretty cool mun, so please go and follow her blogs if you haven’t done so already. :)

Upon hearing that Teddy had been called back into work, the freshly turned sixteen year old couldn’t help but frown. It was nothing new, and Delia had gotten used to having to share her mother ( both of her parents, really ) with the hospital quite awhile ago, but it just didn’t seem fair that the sudden emergency had to take place on such a milestone birthday. Pushing her slight disappointment to the back burner, she accepted the small box with an appreciative smile, already trying to determine what might possibly be hidden inside. Once the bow had been removed, the remainder of the gift was quickly unwrapped, green eyes widening with surprise at what laid inside. Each of the silent guesses had been incorrect, but none of them could ever compare to the actual present. “Please tell me that these keys go to what I think they do. Where is it? Is it outside? Is it the one I showed you like twenty times online?” Now it was her turn to ramble on.
henry watches his daughter’s expression closely , his grin only growing wider as she began asking question after excited question . his cheeks almost hurt , he's smiling so much and he releases a faint chuckle , ❝ it's in the garage , and i don't know . i guess you'll have to go check and see , ❞ yes , the car she had been talking about for the past few months is sitting in the garage , with the biggest pink bow he and teddy could find placed upon the hood .

Teddy couldn’t help but smile, seeing her husband awake. Seeing her husband alive. She quickly crossed the room, grabbing Henry’s face in her hands before kissing him. Throughout the whole ordeal, she had tried to keep her composure but the worry had been eating her up on the inside. “It was worth a shot.” The blonde pulled a chair right next to the bed with a soft laugh and dropped down into it, never letting go of Henry’s hand. “It was tricky, left atrium was a mess. Practically shredded by a screw that was used in her spinal fusion. - Do they have you on a lower dose of pain meds? Or am I so tired I completely missed the eye compliment this time?” She joked with a smile.
he savors the feeling of teddy's soft lips against his --------- a feeling he's been craving since the second he woke up after his surgery . apparently yang had no idea she was operating on him the whole time / she seemed a little put - off about being lied to , but henry is just thankful he had the closest thing to the best heart surgeon in the operating room with him today , ❝ damn ------ my wife is the hottest surgeon i've ever seen , ❞ a soft laugh escapes his throat , holding teddy's hand in his against the mattress as she sits down . ❝ don't worry , i could still look into your eyes my whole life , ❞ he pauses , letting his gaze meet hers / his features soften with the adoration he has for her , ❝ i'm planning on it . ❞
