Greek Nose Bridge – Teen - Elder

Listed Under: Nose > Bridge > Greek Nose Bridge (T-E)

I made this because of a request from an ask I got back in December. I had the main base slider done, but not the other ages done… And time just kinda flew by.

This mimics the greek nose slider by hiemal except it ONLY moves the bridge of the nose. 

If used in conjunction with other sliders you can achive some cool results! Example, you can use bridge depth to create a straight nose which is hard to get with a lot of slider combinations.

Inner Nostril Definition – Teen - Elder

Listed Under: Nose > Nostrils > Inner Definition (T-E)

This moves a couple of vertices in the nostril so there’s no nose shading from the skin peeking out. It’s really a small perception thing.

Nose Bridge Mid Width – Teen - Elder

Listed Under: Nose > Bridge > Middle Width (T-E)

This is a subtle-moving bi-directional slider. The higher section is controlled with the bridge width slider and you can move the entire bridge with nose bridge width, but it was always hard to isolate this one area.

Tutorial: Reshade 2.0 for all those it didn’t work for before!

Reshade 2.0 didn’t work for a lot of people playing on laptops, but @tosimfinityandbeyond found a fix and let me write a tutorial on it :)

NOTE: If you run SweetFx you will need to deinstall this by manually deleting ALL files from your Bin that are from SweetFx. Redownload SweetFx to see which files those are!

1. Download Reshade 2.0 (it is no longer online so either google some old link of it or send me an IM) and extract the contents somewhere

2. Backup your Bin folder somewhere safe just in case (C:/Program Files (x86)/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Game/Bin)

3. Download and Install the End User Runtimes (you will get an .exe, run that and when it asks to which folder pick or create an empty one. Once it is done, go to that folder and you will see loads of files, find the one called DXSETUP.exe and run that fully)

4. Go to the place you extracted Reshade, right click “Reshade Assistant” and click “Properties”. Under the “Compatability” tab make sure “Run this program as an administrator” is ticked. Press “Apply” and close.

5. Run “Reshade Assistant”. Under Profiles, press the “+” button at the top. Navigate to your Bin folder and choose TS3.exe. Press “Confirm” at the bottom. ONLY ADD THIS IF YOU ARE ON A LAPTOP WITH A DEDICATED GPU (aka reshade doesn’t work if you only add TS3W.exe).

6. Now press “+” again and add “TS3W.exe”. Press “Confirm”. You should have two new Profiles now: “Sims_3″ and “Sims_3_Starter_Application”.

7. Double click the profile “Sims_3″. It will take you to the presets tab. Make a preset and enable some shaders.

8. Load your game, and check to see if only white (not yellow, orange or red) text shows in the top left. If its not all white, IM me ;) If it is, then welcome to reshade!!

9. Change presets only for the “Sims_3″ profile. To make the Depth of Field work, make sure you turn off “Edge Smoothing” in your sims 3 in game settings.

Hello :) I just wanted to tell you, you're one of the simmers I really look up to. Furthermore, I wanted to tell you I really love the way you decorate with furniture. Where do you find all that cool stuff? Like today, you posted a picture of some really cool pillows and bed sheets, and the other day, you posted a picture of a computer room with many computer screens and geek toys. Bat those Lashes!!

Hey guys, this is an updated version of the toddler and child eyeslashes uploaded a while back which were a collab between TheCuriousClementine and me (Gruesim).

Issues fixed are:

·        Eyelashes are now slider compatible!

·        Quirky textures in CAS are fixed!

·        Two more sliders are added for width and position! (see GIFs)

For these to work please consider following points:

·        Please delete our previous eyelashes!

·        Please delete the sclub eyelash sliders and use ours (they are all ages)

·        You can continue to use the sclub eyelash meshes

·        Two versions are included: in the accessory’s category and eyeliner category

·        The eyelashes use the sclub textures and thumbnails

Sun is back ♡

Finally ! Yes, finally ! The warm weather finally arrived and I can tell you we’ve been enjoying it. I think I can only handle winter and cold weather for a short time, it can be so depressing sometimes.

With the sun’s arrival, we decided to refresh some rooms decoration and we even made a big cleanup in the garden. We’re lucky to have found a house with a large garden and a pool, two years ago. Except it’s quite restrictive, especially when it comes to maintenance and I can tell you that I’m definitely not a great gardener, hahaha ! We actually hired an outdoor maintenance company to do it for us and I’m really happy with the job they accomplished, because my garden and pool are finally ready for summer. Plus, my little ones can finally play outside without me being scared that they will fall into the nettles. They love it, which is fun because now little Kaïs follows his brother and sisters in the trouble. We finally took out all the tricycles from the garage and eat strawberry pies outside !

How wonderful is it ?

Next week, we will welcome Jackson’s parents at home for two weeks and I can tell you we’re all excited. They moved last month and unfortunately it’s more than two hours away. We haven’t seen them since they moved, so the kids are really happy to have nana and papa around for two whole weeks. I’m really excited too but it’s because I know that I will not have to worry anymore about my mom duties. Hahaha ! Just kidding ! But I know they will want to enjoy their grandchildren and I’m certainly not against it.

Also, they’re staying for two weeks because Jackson and I we will make a quick trip to Aspen, in Colorado. Since my Valentine’s day surprise trip got cancelled, we decided to book for four days a Fasching Haus apartment, just the two of us, without any little ones around needing attention and I know it will be good for us. Parenting isn’t difficult, but it takes time and sometimes it’s necessary to take time for yourself. So I really plan to sleep in, breakfasts in bed, the hot tub, the heated pool, shopping and I’m sure my amazing husband, will find the way to surprise me again.

A day at the park [03-06-2018]

Good morning, I finally have a short moment to post again. February turned out to be an unlucky month for us, so I guess you can say we’ve had a rough start of 2018. The weather’s been terrible. The snow melted away, but we’ve had lots of rain. Samuel fell ill at the middle of the month, and has only just recovered, but now our little Tomás is not feeling so well. It feels like we’ve been stuck inside the house for way too long, so I asked Sam and my amazing mother-in-law to bring the kids to the park, yesterday, now that the sun is finally shinning. Sam’s mother was kind enough to take a few photos for you to see. I really hope Tomás will recover faster than his dear father, so he won’t be stuck in bed for too long.

On another note, our little girl has gotten really good at walking. She has slowed down her pace a bit, and took her first steps on her own a few weeks ago. She’s still very wobbly, and prefers to hold on to something, but she’s working hard on her walking skills, and is almost there. She’s still a very happy and smiley child.

We are hoping that March will be kind to us. The weather has already gotten so much better, so now we just want no more sick people! Until next time,
