Coming from a fallout new vegas supremacist, the fallout show was really good some of you are just annoying

I truly wish they let us destroy the prydwen. Imagine the brotherhood in the show being like “remember the Boston Prydwen Bombing” and the minutemen being an actual known name because of it??? Like how cool would that be. Naturally they had to make it less cool

The other thing I find really funny about people complaining about fallout is that like… the entire series is about how nothing will ever work out. Humanity is too flawed to do anything right for too long. There is no correct answer—you can side with whoever you want, it’ll cause chaos and probably mass destruction regardless. War NEVER CHANGES.

with that in mind. I think it’s fucking rad that the games suck and the show has so many haters. Like of course it does. It was made by humans. It’s ABOUT how much we suck.

Thinking about how each protagonist in the Fallout TV show believes themselves to be the last true American because each of them is a different kind of American myth. Is being an American all about getting to be the lone gunslinger who exists in a world without rules or limitations? Is it about being controlled by a corporation in a hyper-consumptive society that only gives you the illusion of free choice? Is it about being in control of such overwhelmingly dominant military technology that you believe your power grants you the responsibility of being the world's moral authority? One more astonishingly accurate part of the fallout show is the fact that all of the main characters immediately run into complete weirdo npcs the minute they set foot in the wasteland for the first time lol.

Maybe this is unpopular but I think FNV lovers are being super dramatic. The show was GOOD for an Amazon production that didn’t explicitly follow a pre-existing storyline. Personally I don’t think it has retconned shit and tbh I don’t give a fuck if it did. I enjoyed watching the series I adore come to life in a show and idgaf if you feel personally victimized

You know what isn't talked about enough? How much of a little freak The Ghoul is. Most non-feral ghouls we meet in the games hang around places more or less like regular people. A lot of them are trying to live a normal of a life as possible, even though they've been alive a long time and are facing discrimination.

And then there's fucking Cooper Howard, who's just casually hanging out in a fucking coffin for decades at a time for funsies, I guess.
