Might be active here soon since my DA muse is slowly coming back but also I should say because I haven’t updated my roster yet that Hawke, Isabela, Arsine, Honora, and Kaeri have all moved to my multifandom multi (virarosea) because they have non-DA verses and I want this multi to be strictly DA from now on. I’ll make changes to reflect this sometime soon, a long with several muse tweaks. Not sure I’ll have time to do it this week because work is going to be hectic but I’ll get it done in the near future.

ACTIVITY PSA

As my attention is almost entirely focused on my new multi @virarosea atm, kaediisa and atrabclla are both on a semi hiatus. nxthero is on full hiatus and will be for a little while. 

I still have muse for Skarlet and Daeris so I’ll still be around on their blogs just not writing as much for a couple of weeks, but I feel like I need a *real* break from my fantasy multi instead of popping on and off every couple of weeks just because I’ve been writing the majority of those characters for five years and I keep burning myself out by not letting myself really REST, y’know? I love them and I’m not gonna stop writing the muses on my fantasy multi, but they need to go on vacation for a bit lmao. That being said, I am moving a few muses from that multi to my new multifandom one, namely the ones based in TES or ones that have TES verses so that nxthero will focus solely on DA from this point forward.

For my MK mutuals, I’ve already moved Kitana and Mileena from their previous blog to @virarosea (and added Tanya!) 

For my fantasy mutuals, the muses moving from nxthero to the new multi are (currently) Arsine, Honora, and Kaeri. You can now find them @virarosea. It’s multifandom and I still have DA and TES muses/verses so feel free to follow if you want to interact there. If you don’t? No hard feelings. I’ll be back on nxthero in a month or two if you want to stick around there, but if not, that’s fine too. I’m hoping this break will remedy my skittish activity on that blog, but I understand if you don’t want to wait around. Best wishes <3

          Isabela has an eye for expensive jewelry. She is the type to celebrate her body, and one way in which she does this is adorning it with beautiful materials. Her body piercings are extensive. Her navel is pierced with a gold stud with an inlaid diamond with a secondary teardrop diamond hanging from the main gem. Several gold studs surround this centerpiece in symmetric fashion. Her ears have several piercings throughout which are regularly interchanged. She has a golden stud through center of her bottom lip, and she has a stud piercing on her tongue. Both of her nipples are pierced with golden barbells, and she has a sequence of dermal piercings along the top of her pelvic bone that aesthetically match the ones around her navel. Sometimes, when the situation allows for it, she wears a decorative chain that connects to a few of her piercings, but only on the fanciest of occasions.

          Her choice of metal is gold and she rarely, if ever, wears silver or any other metal. This isn’t only an aesthetic choice, as gold is truly what complements her palette the most, but it also serves a practical purpose. If she finds herself shipwrecked, lost in enemy territory, or otherwise in a situation where she needs to bargain and has no coin, she can sell off her piercings individually as she only ever wears real gold with substantial monetary worth. Which is precisely what she did when she was shipwrecked by the Qunari in Kirkwall; hence how she paid for her room at the Hanged Man. It’s not the first time she’s had to sell off piercings for coin, and she knows it won’t be the last. They are a safeguard for a woman who lives a dangerous and unpredictable life as well as a way for her to celebrate her own beauty.

          Isabela’s tattoos are a mixed bag. Some have deeply sentimental stories behind them, but others are on her body strictly because the idea tickled her fancy. You will find depth and humor in the art on her body, and there’s not a piece on her that doesn’t have a good story behind it.

Most of the palace ignored them out of habit, but for those who paid close attention, it was starting to become apparent that something on their side had gone wrong.  ❝ So you’ve seen it too?
