Will Trent is a cute and entertaining show. But… that’s kind of my issue .

I wish we got a streaming or HBO adaptation instead. I want the dark and heaviness of the books. I want nasty , terrible Angie , rude Amanda, high strung Faith. I want all the gory storylines.

The show is cool and I like the cast a lot but I feel a little robbed of what I love about the books.

just saw someone say that Buck is still on the hamster wheel regardless of Tommy being a man because this relationship also just 'happened to him without knowing how he got there' and like... did we watch the same episode? because 7x05 was very literally about Buck making the decision to pursue this relationship even though he thought Tommy had dumped him for good.

he thought it through, he decided that he's interested and then went after Tommy himself. he apologised for his behaviour, he told Tommy 'this is where I'm at, this is what I can offer and I'd like to give this a go' if anything, aside from the initial kiss, this relationship is 'happening' to Tommy, not Buck.

i know they're drunk off their tits but buck and eddie really do love just hanging out together doing silly goofy things like accidentally ending up in a hotel room full of drag queens or clinging to each other whilst doing shots or maybe almost kissing over a couple of bottles of beer or partying so hard they somehow miss their friend getting kidnapped like truly two best friends doing best friend things love that for them

Ever think about how Buck ran away from home to look for a family and Eddie ran away from family because it didn't quite feel like home and then they met each other by some kind of fate and Buck found family in Eddie (because Eddie gave him Chris and he loves Buck unconditionally) and Eddie found a home in Buck (because Buck never makes him feel like a failure of a human or a father, helps him without a second thought). Something about how you don't find it son, you make it. And they did. Both of them made this.

i know we've discussed a buck/tommy eventual breakup a la sam and jess in new girl where sam tells her nick was the reason she couldn't marry him, triggering the big old Feelings Realisation(tm) but have we considered tommy having that conversation with eddie instead of buck??!??!?!?! like eddie asks why he and buck broke up and tommy gives him a rueful smile and says, "you know why," and eddie looks confused and is like, "no i don't buck didn't say anything."
