tbh the fact that cats purr was an unnecessary bonus we don't always acknowledge. they're already cute and baby and little and soft and make silly noises and do funny shit. but they also like to cuddle and make a soothing pleasant noise to indicate they are happy when they cuddle you? huge. huge for the human race.

An other debate exactly 😆

I'm sceptical about the parental salary too because even if the financial side of the stay-at-home-mom problem is solved with this -

(and there is still questions : how much ? do you count the number of child ? do you take in consideration their age ? How much child rearing is worth for society ? That's a funny question to ask, and for a very cynical view ; is it more worthy when war is coming in the future and less worthy in peace time, have girls and boys the same values ?)

- the social (as in the social circle within reach of the stay at home mom) side of the problem is still the same. It's way easier to control the people a woman can meet when she's staying all day long at home (even when she still seeing doctors/vendors/etc etc) than controlling who a woman can meet through her day job.

And I know, even with a job, women can end up in abusive relationship, it's not the magic solution. But I dislike even more giving abuser the mean to trap women at home even more easily.

I will happily pay more taxes if I'm sure the money I'm paying is going to good day care programs, quality school and after-school programs (and before school), but I feel it's not the orientation taken by Macron et Cie...

#i may be way to much pessimistic but i prefer to plan for the worst before finding women in this kind of situation #i hope i made at least a bit of sense #it's not easy to be clear on such topics when writing in an other languages than my mother tongue

i am SOOOO interested in all of your Massà posts!! the twin princess (and of course gay monastery shenanigans) has really caught my eye!!! do you have any lore you’re willing to share? id be so excited to hear >_<

Hello ! Thanks a lot for your interest !

Massà is the setting for the big graphic novel I've signed about a year ago. I'm working on it side by side with my character design gigs and since it's a 200-or-so pages long beast I'm sorry to say it'll be a while before you guys can get an actual look at the story ! But I've been posting tidbits on my insta here and there.

The world it's set in is a low-ish fantasy alternate of XVth century Provence. The twins are called Sàvi and Sefia, and Sefia is married to a guy from the ruling family of the neighbour realm of Longitania (aka cursed Long France) That's guy number two below. would have loved niche subreddits and making spreadsheets if that was available to him

Since most of the intrigue takes place in the monastery the Longitans and Twin Princes intervene only in a handful of scenes so this is mostly lore for the sake of lore but here are some snippets of them and their delegation from the rough pages !
