theres actually no rules to transitioning and youre allowed to want contradictory things for your transition. it's fine if you only want some of the changes that come with hrt and take preventative measures for the rest (like wanting bottom growth but not body hair or vice versa). you can want to have vagina AND a dick. you can be a woman and want top surgery, or wear a packer. you can be a man and want to have a pussy. you can change your transition goals one or a million times or not have any goals at all and just take things as they come or as they feel right.

i feel like no one really wants to hear that sleep/exercise/nutrition/hydration are major factors in treating mental health issues bc we’ve all talked to that person who thinks your depression would be cured by one good session of goat yoga or whatever but unfortunately they do help and i’m chronically annoyed about it

#exercise and going for a balanced diet majorly helped imprpve some of my ADHD symptoms #and I feel kinda bad about it because look I'm not saying that will work for everyone but it really does for me #and it's so much easier to get back into the swing of things if you give yourself grace

#yeah this #the thing is this relates to why I stopped really writing fanfic #i still think fanfic is lovely but i felt so stagnated in my writing and unable to finish anything #also there's nothing wrong with nostalgia but i think the problem is that we're kinda bathing ourselves in it #it's like those 30+ year old HP fans unable to differenciate Myriam Margolyes from the character she played in HP #idk i think it's really healthy to have new experiences
