Metal System (Redone)
The previous coiner left and put me in charge so I’m redoing this so it makes more sense (also expanding it a bit)
This gender system is made as a way to describe genders that are complex in a simpler way. It doesn’t matter if the person’s gender is multifaceted, combined, or they’re polygender. The system helps to put a word to genders affected by multiple things at once.
It’s free of alignment completely. Male-aligned, female-aligned, trinary-aligned, non-aligned, and etc. are different from being masculine, feminine, or other linities. This system helps to serve a way to separate them further, because the person themselves can be anywhere on an alignment (including not on any alignment) and their gender element will still fit.
Each person experiences masculinity, femininity, or other linities differently. This gender element system doesn’t define what these linities are supposed to be like, just gives a word to the elements a person’s gender consists of.
(Please do not confuse this gender element system for this one, which is made of classical elements. This gender element is made of elements of the periodic table, and alloys made of the metals on the periodic table.)

ZINC - Zin
ZINC is for neutral elements. Someone whose gender is ‘zin’ means their gender has a neutral gender expression, meaning it’s not masculine or feminine but rather a neutral element. Their gender may be in between masculine or feminine or a third group beside the two, but not part of either one, and not absent of element.
Color is based on the shades zinc adds to its alloys. Symbol is based on its alchemical symbol.

NICKEL - Nial
NICKEL is for gender elements exclusive to a particular culture. Someone who is ‘nial’ means their gender is exclusive to their nationality, heritage, or culture. An example would be Muxe, which has a separate element expression from male or female in mexican culture.

ANTIMONY - Ani/Mona
ANTIMONY is for gender elements affected by neurodivergency. Someone whose gender is ‘ani’ or ‘mona’ (same thing) means their neurodivergency affects their perception of their own gender, or gender in general. Color is based on the teal ribbon for mental illness awareness. Symbol is based on its alchemical symbol.
LEAD - Lan
