Prompting for Padfoot Fest 2024 is officially open from today (May 25th) until June 14th. You can leave a prompt by clicking this link:

Before you proceed, here are a few reminders:

All ships and all eras are welcome, including gen fic (no ship).

You can submit as many prompts as you’d like, but each new prompt must be submitted separately. Submitting prompts does not mean you have to claim one later.

This fest includes mature subjects, so everyone is responsible for managing their own experiences within the fest. This also applies to viewing the uncensored prompts list.

While other characters can be included, Sirius Black must be the main focus of the stories or art pieces.

We, the mods of the fest, strongly adhere to the principles of “don’t like, don’t read”, “YKINMKATO”, and “ship and let ship”. We will absolutely not tolerate any form of kink or ship shaming, harassment, hate speech, or bigotry.

Hot mugshot guy

after sketching the mugshots, i remembered this guy’s story (i sorta used him as a reference too), and it sounds like an AU for Sirius… except, what if it’s not completely an AU? i have the headcanon now that new mugshots were taken of prisoners of azkaban yearly, and Sirius kinda gathered a little fanclub among the ministry workers or whoever have access and need to archive these prison files, cause he is just so hot… maybe he even won the witch weekly hottest single wizard title too, completely unaware of this whole phenomenon around himself until he started to get actual fanmail maybe?? And MM Fudge found him so unnerving not only because he seemed bored only and quite sane, but because he kept his goodlooks too, so the MM ordered to guard him with more dementors and also shut down his little fanclub in the ministry too (no more feloncrushfriday!) and modified the mugshot procedure so a new one had to be taken every 5 years only, at least of Sirius… fastforward to ootp, when Kingsley could pretend to investigate Sirius’ escape and stuff by making his whole department read through and follow up every single detail of all the fanmail Sirius received, which is probably a remarkable amount of letters… (and he maybe develops a little crush on Sirius too in the meantime?…) someone please write this! 🥺

Something fun today! I painted the left MASTERPIECE (*cough*) back in 2006, when I was 14 years old. This was my very very first attempt painting a portrait of Post Azkaban Sirius 😄 It goes along with shitty camera quality, because back then I mainly painted with pastels. I feel a bit embarrassed showing this very old work, but also quite proud 🙈😄 So this is a reminder to never give up, improvement is always possible, just keep going ☺️ (this is also a reminder for myself 🥲).
