He doesn’t know how to react to such gentle touches, aside from the surprised look on his face and his heart pounding rapidly in his chest. It was obvious he hadn’t received that much physical affection. Even though Daryun once courted the Serican princess, that relationship was rather short-lived, so any physical affection was rather minimal. 

Though with Sanaz, the meanings behind the gestures didn’t go unnoticed. The Marzban’s face was soon dusted a faint shade of pink, though he said nothing. Speech wasn’t possible when he was trying to figure out Sanaz’s intentions behind her actions, mixed with his slightly flustered state.

  “Narsus,” she could hardly look at him. “What are you doing here?
