my opinion on quantum physics is that we should stop looking into it. it's none of our business and frankly the particles seem to agree

“Near Ridley, a man yells, “No Gods.” “No monsters,” the crowd yells back. The chan is an evolution of an anarchist slogan: “No gods, no masters,” the original version meaning no human above. It is meant as a call against hierarchy. Ridley assumes that this variation means no human above, no human below, or something like it. A call against hierarchy and discrimination. It has been quite some time since Ridley got close enough to a march to feel its infectious energy. Since those days with Marcus, the trauma has kept him away, but now he feels foolish for isolating himself for so long. He almost convinced himself that his work with cooperatives was enough. But he sees his error now. As he walks with the crowd, he understands what he had forgotten: that a march is not just a voice against violence and trauma, but also a reminder that even in a cause that is stacked against them, no one is alone.”
— Cadwell Turnbull, from No Gods, No Monsters (via rustbeltjessie)

Cats understand "naughty". In fact I think they're the only animal who understands it. Dogs know "good" and "bad" but not Naughty. Same with theft. Cats know what theft is. They know when they are thieving and you can see it on their faces. Squirrels are thieves but they don't know that. They know "take" and "have" but they don't comprehend what it is to steal. Nor do raccoons or coyotes or any species of rodent. They may participate in theft but they are ignorant of the weight of what they do, the full meaning of it. Cats know what crime is and they do it on purpose.
