Operation on Rafah is not only catastrophic but is unnecessary since Hamªs has already agreed to a ceasefire deal in exchange to releasing the hostages but the Israeli war cabinet led by Benjamin Netanyahu has refused.

The Israeli government wants the hostages dead so it can justify the genocide on the Gaza Strip. It does not want them alive. We have been saying this for months.

Just a reminder for people who may not know, in light of protestors at UCLA being shot in the face with rubber bullets— rubber bullets are not bullets made of rubber. They are metal bullets encased in rubber.

Despite being called “non-lethal” or sometimes “less lethal”, they are well known to cause death and permanent disability.

Here’s a photo showing their size— these are actual rubber bullets used during the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020.

Do not let them downplay the severity of what they are subjecting this students to for standing against genocide. Stay safe and stay educated.

It's insane how casually the calls to end a genocide, not just the students in Columbia University but pro Palestinian views in general, are labelled as terrorists. the university which administers the Pulitzer prizes is not allowing press on campus, to make sure nobody on-site can document what is happening.

the nypd threatened student journalists qnd their dean with arrest if they leave a building named after Joseph Pulitzer.

at this point it isn't even worth remarking on the sheer horror, the baffling irony of it all.

entire new york roads have been closed to traffic so that nobody can prevent the world's largest police force's brutalization of students protesting THEIR tution fres and tax dollars contributing to killing kids.

Columbia University would rather risk their students getting murdered than divest from genocide...
