Please enjoy this petty graph I made about the 'worlds' in the Sims 4.

Key:

X-Axis (Horizontal) The World Y-Axis (Vertical) Number of Lots Green: Base Game Worlds Purple: Expansion Pack Worlds Cyan: Game Pack Worlds Red Line: How many lots the newest world will be coming with. (9 allegedly)

Notes:

Moonwood Mill is not included in the data because I do not own that pack, and Batuu isn't included because it's not a real world. (Also don't own it.)

Strangerville either has 11 lots or 12 if you want to count the secret lab.

San Myshuno and Evergreen Harbors lots includes apartments as separate lots.

My conclusion from this graph is thus: Sims 4 Worlds have severely shrunk in size since we got the one-two punch of Windenburg and San Myshuno, however for the last 4 Expansion packs you could count on there to be at least 12 lots in a world. Putting a world with less than 12 lots in an Expansion Pack I believe is a rip off. (So yes, Get To Work and Magnolia Prom. is a rip off.) That small of world belongs in a Game Pack. EA is on their bullshit still.
