I am apparently working on becoming a local cryptid at the store. Talents include:
Monitoring the changing of the seasons via mozzarella
Predicting the weather by picking up a piece of cheese and mysteriously saying âoh, the storm is gonna be bigger than we thought...â just before thunder
Mind reading, e.g. âCan you help me find a cheese? Itâs called, uh... [starts fishing out shopping list]â âGruyere?â â...yes O_oâ

âSheâd never really liked the book. It seemed to her that it tried to tell her what to do and what to think. Donât stray from the path, donât open that door, but hate the wicked witch because she is wicked. Oh, and believe that shoe size is a good way of choosing a wife.
A lot of the stories were highly suspicious, in her opinion. There was the one that ended when the two good children pushed the wicked witch into her own oven. Tiffany had worried about that after all that trouble with Mrs. Snapperly. Stories like this stopped people thinking properly, she was sure. Sheâd read that one and thought, Excuse me? No one has an oven big enough to get a whole person in, and what made the children think they could just walk around eating peopleâs houses in any case? And why does some boy too stupid to know a cow is worth a lot more than five beans have the right to murder a giant and steal all his gold? Not to mention commit an act of ecological vandalism? And some girl who canât tell the difference between a wolf and her grandmother must either have been as dense as teak or come from an extremely ugly family. The stories werenât real. But Mrs Snapperly had died because of stories.â

âWhatâs magic, eh? Just wavinâ a stick anâ sayinâ a few wee magical words. Anâ whatâs so clever aboot that, eh? But lookinâ at things, really lookinâ at âem, and then workinâ âem oout, now, thatâs a real skill.â

âStories, great flapping ribbons of shaped space-time, have been blowing and uncoiling around the universe since the beginning of time. And they have evolved. The weakest have died and the strongest have survived and they have grown fat on the retellingâŚstories, twisting and blowing through the darkness. And their very existence overlays a faint but insistent pattern on the chaos that is history. Stories etch grooves deep enough for people to follow in the same way that water follows certain paths down a mountainside. And every time fresh actors tread the path of the story, the groove runs deeper. This is called the theory of narrative causality, and it means that a story, once started, takes a shape. It picks up all the vibrations of all the other workings of that story that have ever been. This is why history keeps on repeating all the time.â

im banning ablebodied and neurotypical people from making games unless they have someone neurodivergent and disabled helping them or testing their game. im literally so sick of being unable to play games because nobody bothered to take into account that certain levels are straight up impossible unless you have extremely percise fine motor skills and reaction times. im sick of being driven to tears from frustration with my very minor hand tremors. im sick of vague directions and fast dialogue leaving me completely lost. im sick of seeing people be unable to play games cus the lack of very simple things like changing keybinds.
i understand that some games are designed to be as frustrating as possible and im perfectly fine with that. but singleplayer splatoon 2 levels shouldnt be making me so frustrated that i wanted to bite my fingers off. its advertised towards kids.
neurotypical/ablebodied ppl can reblog but if you try to be funny im going to block you this post isnt a joke and if you cant take it seriously then ur just ableist <3
