I will be posting a visual art for Jungwon's fic soon, now titled as Corpse Bride's Collections, and also one for Route 1's Canvas. But one important thing I want to address is, which is very much a rule, I do not condone any kind of reposting of my art outside of this platform. I want to keep it strictly within Tumblr, so if anyone breaks this — I'll immediately stop posting visual arts for my projects.

Save it if you want, or even as a profile picture but only within Tumblr, I will definitely know if my art is out there, reposted without my permission. So please, I ask for you to respect my wishes and boundaries regarding my creative process here.

untitled project, corpse bride (teaser)

author's note. a jungwon 7k oneshot corpse bride inspired with him as a 'psycho serial killer butchering everyone in the train' i did since a year ago, but im not satisfied with it yet but here's a teaser! i haven't written in awhile so it might be crusty rusty lol but yep it will be out this month, hopefully ♡ trying to get back into my momentum.

warning. subtle graphic description of murder, gore. / excessive tagging wouldn't be used but a tagging system of playing card symbols i've created so please read at your own discretion when the full fic is out.

Horrendous. Awful.

Not quite like the picture perfect image he had been fantasising about whenever he'd like to.

But he likes it, more than he would like to.

Awfully likes it.

He just needs to fix it a little more. Just a bit would do.

A bride on her merry way down the aisle of promised vows of happily ever after, a sweetened pursed up glossed lips and irises, couldn't she grow any more sweeter than this? Perhaps, it could. But to him, your shattered delicate state was much more sweet than he could taste, he could even sniff it into his soul—dark, dark, terribly dark soul.

Your bouquet, strip to nothingness where restorations could no longer be made was evident with madness. Or was he, the madness in itself? Perhaps, it is. What is there to deny?

Now the question is, what happened? Was it an arranged marriage on the foundation of a million bucks or perhaps even better, a mine of gold? Or was it actually true love at first sight? A runaway bride with her lover but was unfortunately shot to his death, or maybe, maybe fell to his death down the cliff? Or was it betrayal?

Which one is it?

Which one did actually happen that it has this tremendous effect in making this sweet of a delicate bride stranded somewhere in the city, boarding a train in all her fleeting gloriousness that was all for her cherished husband-to-be to relished on?

How amusing.

Where did your smile go? Your pitch black mascara smeared, tainted with pearl tears. Glossed lips now chapped and dry. The overall makeover he was sure took a horrendous amount of preparation was replaced with an image of a decomposing corpse bride.

But he likes it.

Of course it would, why wouldn't he?

He wouldn't need to go through the tremendous hassle of butchering another one when you're all here, all ready to be his next corpse bride in collection.

It just needs a little more, a little more — effort.

To make you his perfect corpse bride.

Silence.

Nothing came.

Only a deafening silence in constant rhythm of beats, accompanied by (Name)'s rampant heart as the main vocal. The train's intercom and the sound of the train tracks was what served as the instruments, side vocals by the distant screaming ahead the carriage.

All of it, the entire piece of orchestration of all led by the conductor with his baton. However, the conductor was eerily silent. Weirdly, horrifyingly silent.

"Whose bride do we got here?"

A hiccup escape from the bride's throat as soon as those words reverberated from the conductors lips.

Amused by the unusual sight you don't often see everyday especially while boarding a train, the man let's put a satisfying groan as he sat down facing the bride, comfying himself for another break session.

He's sitting down? Are you fucking serious right now?!That particular sentence echoes beneath everyone's mind in varying volumes and expressions. No one knows how long will it take. But everyone was sure as hell didn't want him to sit that long.

Get lost. Just get fucking lost!

But one should know that one single wrong step is only a foolish's mistake.

Therefore, it was a silent agreement of all;

To stay still.

Do not anger the lion.

Or perhaps, the conductor if we were being classy here.

"Since you didn't hear it, I'll repeat my question," Jungwon grins behind the cat mask, "Where's your husband?"

An orchestration of a bloodbath; scream once, your head gone. Try to run, don't bother, just crawl. But Jungwon wouldn't mind a bit letting your head stay intact a little more, he just thought you would look a lot sweeter with your delicate face and piece of dress splattered with the perfect ingredient.

As of 12 Jan, 2024 — I won't be exhaustively tagging everything in my works to avoid possible spoilers (except for certain warnings that I do not see as a spoiler, or major warnings in the masterlist) that may ruin the element of surprise, but a further rating method I created will be implemented for reader discretion. My expectation is that you, as the reader, will use your best judgement regarding your reading experience after reading this post.

My rating method ; the four suits.

I'm mainly a dark author, and partly experimenting other genres/stuffs like fluff, as my navigation post suggests. But the dominant part of my project blog consists of dark unsettling tones. So I assume my readers know by default that I depict dark stories in graphic detail. It's a big part of my work. Part of my writing style includes descriptive imagery when I see fit.

If reading about any of these makes you uncomfortable, then my work will not be to your taste.

In my masterlist or oneshots, you will see a disclaimer along the lines of the following:

“By proceeding to read my works after checking the dictionary of suits, you've accepted and agreed that you may see anything listed respectively under the four suits.”

“This work/project has incorporated elements/scenes that some readers may found extremely distressing & upsetting. But the author chooses not to issue tags for everything that takes place in this work to preserve some element of surprise where applicable. By continuing, you accept to proceed at your own risk. “See respective installments for relevant warnings where applicable — Stories published on this blog are not exhaustively tagged for their entire content to prevent spoilers. See here and proceed at your own risk.”

Major warnings are always included in the masterlist of a particular work, and I do not repeatedly warn for them in the chapters. It spoils the entire thing: As I've said before, my intention is not to blindside anybody, and my main concern always has to do with spoiling and ruining potential twists.

I will be tagging accordingly but not exhaustively which then brings us to the rating method I've created.

a method I've carefully thought of to tackle down the troubles of addressing specific tags for the events/scenes in a episodic format and/or oneshot. guidelines;

[ method ; cards of suits. 「♤♡♧♢」 ]

♤♡♧♢ : each suit corresponds to their respective warnings.

a single suit could appear in episodes that has the following warnings;events;elements—a combination of them is pretty explanatory—it gives you a slight clue/heads-up on what a story may contain/what you can expect.

the amount of a particular suit in a rating determines the fatality; ( ♤ ) indicates a low-tier warning, but a (♤♤) is a high-tier. ⇆ 「♡♡♧♢♢」 indicates that a particular scene has grown into a volume of an extremely upsetting, triggering, and disturbing events, which may not be suitable for some readers.

for example, classic lovesick episode 8's rating may contain 「♡♤♢」 ; you may check the dictionary of a particular/combination of suits. To sum it up, the suits will provide you a slight heads-up/clue on what may appear but not exactly what, and so the element of surprise are still preserved. I believe this still creates a reader discretion all while creating an air of suspense and shock. Subjectively, it's the same as playing a survival death game, but by knowing through a tall board across from you listed with a "what may happen;cause/method of your death" if you ever fail rather than being given an exact list/or knowing nothing about it and/or, which increases the suspense, fear, and danger.

Of course, not everyone shares the same opinion! But it was through this belief that I resorted to this rating method. After reading all that, please proceed to the dictionary.

Mainly inspired by @/cb97percent since i share the same perspective as her regarding that, some of the sentences/paragraphs here belongs to her, i only revised most of it into my own words! The rating method are entirely mine, inspired by Alice in Borderland if you're curious.

Please use your best judgement regarding consuming my work. If you do not see my rating method as a sufficient method to guide your reading experience, then by all means, you are free not to read my work. I appreciate you respecting my choices as an author, and thank you very much for showing interest in my work.

i never rlly used it but i will still make it clear that i do not do permanent taglist 'anymore', also the taglist from all previous stories will be cancelled, i will not be tagging anyone in the last ep of r1, nor the rest of my future works whether it be series or oneshots that include parts. i know i don't update that often but i will not be doing taglist from now on. i alrd had less time to write, and it's exhausting to go all over the entire creative process — so keeping up w the tags is not doing it for me, especially when readers barely interact or reblog which is no longer a new thing in this hellsite. i do not want to trouble myself w such numbers anymore, after all this a practice blog. if my works had its intended effect on you whether it be positive (or negative angsty-sh bawling lol), then i'm alrd happy w that!

author's note; ngl i enjoyed this lol.. ik this was a few months ago buttt im trying to complete the remaining requests i had! sorta find it fun to write teammies request for others recently ♡

you didn't have to go this far, you thought; sulking inside your room all while burying yourself in the mountains of blankets, comfying and comforting yourself, spam liking each and every post on your feed with rage imbued within your thumb while the other kittenish—sharkish little guy with his snuggle tooth peeking out whenever he smiles was probably out there roaming around looking for snacks.

but who cares right? who cares what he's up to? when he doesn't care what you're up to either anyway?

it just so happens when after throwing on the new pretty dress you bought—you giddily hopped to where he was—currently playing video games all while yelling at his poor teammates for messing up, specifically maki.

okay, maybe it was your fault for interrupting him but all you ask was a three-second attention and what was his opinion on the dress but how can he be so mean? "oh god, not you too (name), the dress suckass. get it?—maki! i told you to not spawn there you motherf—"

so here you are now not bothering to change into your pyjamas, so deep in your thought that you were unaware of the slow creak of the bedroom door, and the boy quietly slipping in through like a kitten on his paws, climbing on top of the bed.

you only realise it by the spot close to you deepening, signifying that he was close. and you didn't care any less to get out of your 'tent'. it was silent for a few moments, fiddling his hands and all before he place his palms on your covered form, "pretty, you okay?"

you weren't supposed to answer but the pet name somehow triggered you, in a bad way, of course. "p-pretty? now i am pretty? why don't you go back to your pretty game, pretty keyboard, or whatever it's called—"

you didn't get to continue your words when you got pushed deep into the bed, yuma's weight on top of yours as he mumbled, "okay, okay, i'm sorry. i know i was too mean—" you didn't have to see his face to know he was pouting, his arms wrapped around your waist as he held you tight. "forgive me please?"

"never— ah!" you let out a yelp when the blankets were pulled off your body, closing your eyes immediately with your hands but even that were yanked away by the boy who's right in front of you, his face leaning a few inches from yours—causing a light blush to dust off your cheeks. "get off!"

you pushed him off causing him to fell off the bed, a few exaggerated "ouch" emitted from him. "so mean."

"not like what you did to me exactly three hours ago, sorry not sorry, it's past the deadline."

"excuse me, there's even a deadline?" his jaw dropped as he rubbed his back, getting on top of the bed again. you ignored him with a glare and a pout, crossing your arms despite how he look so damn cute with his messy hair.

"whyyyy? am i not your little baby shark or baby snuggle tooth anymore?" okay, that's a foul. he shouldn't be doing that, but he's so good at it as he leans closer, placing his elbows on top of your blanket-covered knees, resting his chin on his palms as he pouted—his signature snuggle tooth peeking out.

"you little menace. that's not how you ask for forgiveness??"

"but it won't work if i don't you show my tooth! isn't that your weakness? am i not your weakness?"

"no get out!"

"i'll even give you my tooth if you want!" "i don't want your tooth! that's gross—"

"then what about me?"

"not a little menace like you." you let that out in a rather small voice, though. of course, you two knew better than that despite all the banters and stuff.

"whatever you say," yuma continued with a satisfied smile as his hands pulled off the blankets completely from you—revealing the dress you've wanted so bad to show him earlier. "it's pretty, but you already know you look pretty with anything, yeah?"

a few beats of silence surfaces in the air, but you eventually snorted "horrible pick up line! learn from nicholas or fuma, yeah?"

"they're not even good at it!—"

"well, atleast they're not gold at being a little meanie menace like you!"

"who says? nicho hyung is menace too! you just didn't see it, duh" yuma retorted, "besides, they don't have this—" pointing his index finger towards his tooth peeking from the top corner of his lips, "now, watch me do this. nyah, nyah!" to your huge shock, he imitated a kitten's gesture, forming his hands into a paw as he tried so hard to make you giggle, singing a random kitten song and replacing it with apologetic lyrics.

you were about to burst into laughter but you held it in, but goddamn your stomach were about to explode as the boy won't stop with his kitten agenda.

"oh god— can't you laugh? i'm sacrificing my reputation right here, i can't let see kei hyung or maki sees this or they'll humiliate me for life—" yuma almost look like a draining line sticker drifting off the air, but continued afterwards.

"tch," you scoffed, but you could no longer hold it as you laughed so hard, and oh boy, did he loved the sight in front of him. "you silly menace."
