You know the look children have in their eyes when they laugh? I like slowing down time then, because it is the purest form of human expression. It's untainted by fear because they haven't been told what to be afraid of yet, or taught to make all these calculations to keep themselves safe. Uninterested to fake emotions because they aren't scathed by society's expectations yet. That's how you look when you mentally draw my face over and over again. I sense you touch every inch of my body from your whole being. It's unpretentious, so I don't seek words of confirmation. I don't feel the need to label that feeling, the one that makes my heart so full. Nor am I afraid of it, or want to run from it because I can feel your genuinity in my gut. It's so intense yet unimposing, it appears as zephyr, the kind that's really easy to breathe. And I suddenly become the first wave of a good iruvai when you look at me, breathing in my entire existence. Our first date was going out for ice cream; touching feet, playful hands. I felt 16 again. Today I realized it's because that was the last time I could picture this as a possible reality. Nobody I've met in my adult life made me feel worthy of being treated the way you do. Never realized the importance of enjoying what was being shared. But when your skin melts onto mine, I forget where I am and who I used to be. And that to me is magic. You are magic. And with you, I feel like magic too.

Tumblr, I am back!

I was supposed to abandon this blog and create a new tumblr. What can I do though, I’m too attached to this one. 

I don’t remember how long it’s been since I’ve had this account. It’s like a time capsule at this point. I can become so many versions of myself through this: some I’m not particularly fond of. But it’s not like I would have become who I am today without being all those people at one point in my life. So here’s to appreciating that and starting over.
