Nestinarstvo. The hypnotic fire dancing found exclusively in Bulgaria and as well in Greece. It is called locally the Nestinari Dance and is traditionally performed by women. A Nestinari would dance on burning embers and it requires quick but soft steps. It is an art like most dances and like most dances this requires technique. This tradition is of Thracian Bacchic origin. The Bacchae, priestesses of Dionysus would perform these exotic dances in ancient times. Because the religion of Dionysus was not exclusive to Phrygia and Thrace this tradition is found in modern day Greece as well and is known instead as Anastenaria. A deeper meaning can be drawn from this dance; a reverence for the sun, reincarnation and fertility are reocurring themes within this ancient tradition.

I know I’ve been posting a lot in the past two days with all those reblogs from our wonderful testers ♥, hehe, but while you wait for the collab to officially release (tomorrow if all goes well) thought you guys might like to see the ombré’d version of the Keahi hair in action 😁 Originally planned to release it at the same time but I had to do further UV mapping to make sure the ombrés were laid out perfectly, which is why this hair will be uploaded next week ~

After confessing her identity as a mermaid, Mira and K. decided to go through with tying the knot. K. had to explain that shes never going to be able to settle for one romantic partner, but Mira is just fine with that. She is going for the gold in fame so she knows her path will take her away from home quite a bit. She just wants her beautiful mermaid to be free and spend what time can give to one another as one.
