At my most cynical, I'd say the Democrat's apparent lack of a plan is the plan.

Once Ruth Bader-Ginsburg died, it should've been perfectly obvious what was coming down the pipe. The Democrat response was to wait until Roe v Wade was struck down and then act surprised.

Why? Surely they're not that incompetent. Maybe it's because they knew that ending Roe would make Republicans the dog that caught the car. The GOP is busy tearing itself apart not just over loyalty to Trump, but now also about how hard abortion should be banned, if at all. Oh, a 10-year-old rape victim had to travel out of state to get an abortion? Guess she should've thought of that and voted for Hillary in 2016. We hope you've learned your lesson, plebs.

Good ol' tough-on-crime Blue Dog Joe Biden is too old to give a shit about reelection. He's already got what he wants: "President" on his tombstone. He has been ignoring the polls because if he loses, he goes home to spend his final days eating ice cream and petting his dogs. The worst thing his constituents could do to him is re-elect him and make him do the job for another for years or right up until he croaks, whichever comes first. He cannot be pushed to the left because nobody has any leverage against him. This leaves him perfectly free to engage in his one remaining, true political passion: Genociding anyone the Israelis don't like.

This behavior is acceptable to Democrat party leadership because they are convinced that Trump cannot win the election, and even if he does, then we go through another cycle of the American people being punished for their disloyalty with more disastrous Republican policy. Playing the long game, they are confident that in the unlikely event of a 2024 loss, by 2028 their constituents will be chastened and come back to vote blue no matter who.

GREEN HELL

image 3: gotta hide in the wet bushes from border patrol, but u just navigated an hour thru swamp so it doesn't make a difference at this point. soaked is soaked.

image 4: You don't risk a headlamp in these woods. its slow going but otherwise you'd never notice the blue glow of some fungi. 

image 5: The Folks you meet don't share your language, but indicate razor wire injuries from the crossing. A red light is needed to treat the wounds, and while the rest of the group drinks the tea and trades in their soaked gear, you try to ask why they left home. Only a few recognizable words but you've heard this story before.

image 6: The next day, a local with good knowledge of the Green Hell shows you some choice forest snacks, and on your way home you pass the fence where last night's wet boots dry. This place, and the people of this place give. so. much. The forest isn't naturally a refugee meat grinder, the state had to work really hard to turn it into one.

hii i want to make it to 25 so i’m finally starting the transition fund i meant to start last year :]

if this spreads to people who do not know me i’m lee, im a 22 year old trans man who has been waiting to transition since i was 13 and nine years later im finally making an effort to start. unfortunately with 5 years of people ahead of me on the nhs clinic waitlist i need to go private. at the clinic i’ve chosen each appointment is £396 and i need 3 to get a t prescription. i have paid for the first appointment but would really appreciate some help ! shared care for my hormones and blood tests is an unknown rn but i really hope i get it as overall my transition is already looking like it will cost somewhere around £8k x_x
