very late to this but: im glad u feel that way. Ren is one of those characters that i like as a fictional creation. But if he were a real person, I would demand he financially compensate me for his existence.

an important distinction about Ren that I hope is obvious. Do not mistake him being full of himself as any indication that he's worth fanfare. You should hate him and wanna beat him up.
