What part of Europe are Cecil and Cordelia from ?

Well even though Cordelia is named after queen Elizabeth Tudor, she’s from Victorian London! So she was born and raised in London! Cecil is a bit more mysterious. He’s actually half French, his mother from an unknown part of France (most likely the French countryside) when his father brought her and their baby to London after staying there for a time! Cecil was born in France, but all he’s known is London.

Since codelia and cecil have charles , do you think that charles in the future maybe become a yandere like his father ? Or would cecil try to prevent it ?

I did think about it because I’m a fan of the Webtoon “Bastard” and I thought the murderous father and son dynamic might be interesting! But while I do think Cecil would encourage Charles to be protective of his mother, he treasures them both very much and sees them as precious pearls not to be harmed. To Cecil, he’s only “doing what’s necessary to be happy”, so while he cares little for his victims, he recognizes the risk and would never want that for his son or wife. He would never want Charles to be anywhere near danger, that might take him away from his daddy! Cecil and Cordelia are also very loving parents, so Charles would never be starved for love. To me, an older Charles is a big, strong boy that does all the heavy lifting for his mom outside the house, and runs errands for his father. He is loved and praised, all while stealing hearts around town with his golden heart, which is exactly what Cecil and Cordelia should have had as children.

What were the early inspos of cordelia and cecil ? and is there any early concept designs of them

Oh I wish I had any! The first drawing I posted of them is the earliest version I have. As for inspiration I think it comes from a place of a general love for creating characters that work off of each other. I wanted to create a pair where one is a yandere and the other, while oblivious, is not necessarily dumb if too submissive. Not only that but I wanted a yandere that wasn’t just a yandere, but someone who wants love so desperately that he’s willing to go to extreme lengths. More than anything though, I wanted a pair that gush over each other like a Disney prince and princess, Philip and Aurora from Sleeping Beauty may very well have been some inspiration!

How do you imagine if the roles were swapped for Cecil and Cordelia ? Yan maid Cordelia and Prince Cecil I imagine yan maid cordelia to be very soft yandere though .

Cordelia would definitely be a reluctant yandere. She is kind and gentle, and values life and the people in it. But if she were in the position, the position to keep Cecil to herself, most of the joy she derived from the world would be from him, and he’d be plenty affectionate to keep her focused on that. As demure as Cordelia is, Cecil would not have the concern of being a butler to hold him back from being as flirty as he likes. Though well-behaved and as gentle as her, he would pour all the love into Cordelia she needs to go through with the things she does. And princesses coming his way won’t wake up after they drink one of her poisons. She’s very jealous, although this only shows in requests for more time with him or more praise, which he is happy to give. She can be ruthless, but only when the woman she’s killing is someone cruel to Cecil. They would both eventually run away together, and Cecil would be the one to ask her.
