HE TRAILS OFF, glancing over his shoulder at the other man having to restrain his visible frustrations as a fist clenches idly before he runs a hand over his own features, shaking his head with a taut jaw before grunting softly.
“Y’don’ fuckin’ say. We jus’ lost our LEAD.”
“ Yeah, right, right, that looks bad but uh -- “
He motions slightly for Karter to come over before motioning once again in
the direction opposite their lead where just between the trees a building
has started to come into view. The wind had been picking up for a little
while now and he’d been seeing flashes of something with the stronger
gusts of wind.
“ Is that.... Where we were hoping he would take us? It looks about right,
don’t you think ? “

Nate offers a quick thumbs up with both hands, and without waiting for his
brother to protest he dips out of sight, and begins his not so carefully
thought out approach. It would be fine if Sam was successfully distracting,
and knowing his brother that wouldn’t be that hard.

But his holster is empty, his stomach is gurgling angrily with him, and
it’s been at least two days since he’d seen someone that was on his
proverbial side. At least these Edens Gate people were very into
self identification, it made it a lot easier for him to figure out who
he should shoot and who he should help.
Which didn’t really matter at the moment, seeing as he was face to
face with their leader, whatever his name was.
